Im used to and prefer a litghty steamed soft pita packed full of meat strips, a few toppings and sauce. I Ordered the biggest donair on their menu,I was still hungry after finishing it, they put the whole wrap in a sandwich press which makes the pita crunchy and a little harder to consume IMO. The search continues to find a donair joint in calgary thats comparable to some of the great ones Edmonton has to offer.

Came across this pita stop by accident I thought google was taking me to Shawnessy shopping centre. Still decided to try out this restaurant the minute I opened the door it smelled Great! staff was friendly, food was Good and hot. Will visit again.

I would go here all the time in high school and still find myself returning every now and then when I’m in that part of town. I have never had a better donair anywhere else, and staff is super friendly and gets your order done very quickly.
Delicious and fresh! My hubby and I had donairs and onion rings on December 4, 2024. The food is so flavourful! The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Thank you!

Abosolute cheapers here, I ask for extra lettuce and the guy everytime never allows me to ask for more toppings…… even tho I’m paying for my food, this place jacked the prices up over night for absolutely no reason almost doubled everything on the menu and was 1000% better when the Filipinos owned the place

Been coming here for over a decade and its truly the best place for authentic donairs and shawarma.
The food is always delicious, and they make their own sauces while provided very generous servings. The service is wonderful as well. Its a family-owned business and the staff are always smiling when I arrive.
I would highly recommend Pita Stop to anyone who appreciates a delicious donair. Far beyond any other donair places I have experienced.
