Poached has completely raised the bar for breakfast. The food is nothing short of spectacular—the Eggs Benedict were flawless, with silky hollandaise and perfectly poached eggs that melted in every bite. The potato fritters were golden, crispy, and bursting with flavor, easily one of the best breakfast sides I’ve ever had. And the coffee? Out of this world. The quality is crazy good—smooth, rich, and brewed with such precision that it feels like a treat all on its own.
But what truly makes Poached shine is Avery. She was beyond lovely—warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure the experience was perfect from start to finish. Avery has that rare gift of making guests feel both welcome and special, with a kindness and energy that elevates the entire atmosphere. Her thoughtful service turned a great meal into an unforgettable one, and it’s clear she takes pride in creating a space where people feel at home.
Between Avery’s incredible hospitality, the outstanding food, and the unbeatable coffee, Poached isn’t just a breakfast spot—it’s a place I’ll be returning to again and again.

Decent brunch
The place is dirty, tables had crumbs everywhere.
The waiter brought out water and the cups had lipbalm from the last customers that used it.
The hashbrowns are good but everything else was mediocre at best.

Likely one of the worst breakfast places I've tried in a while. very disappointing food, service was slow and forgetful. The waitress never offered a menu until I asked. She just expected we were ready to order. It was not busy inside at all. The hash browns came out cold, the over easy eggs were running off my plate like mush and the bacon half cooked. Originally, the eggs came super fried and hard when I originally ordered them over easy. They took my plate back to bring back fresh runny, sloppy eggs and must have transferred the hashbrowns, bacon and fruit to the new plate instead of making it fresh again. The sourdough bread was decent (but also cold). The waitress told me she didn't know when they cooked up the last batch of hash browns and offered to bring some fresh ones. Clearly, they aren't made to order. When they brought fresh ones out, her hand was sitting all over the top of the dish which was pretty unappealing. I pulled the top layer off to try some "fresh" hashbrowns and was met with larger ones being raw in the middle and smaller pieces being filled with nothing but grease. $45.00 for 2 breakfast dishes (which over half was inedible). I had to go to thr bar and stand and wait for the bill as the waitress didn't come back. I never got to see the bill either, so I'm not even super confident it was correct. Nothing special here! I do not recommend and will not be returning.
Jordan D was a fantastic server! Friendly, fun, and efficient! Food was great and brought out hot and fast. Yummy coffee too! Thanks Jordan!

The food is amazing. Huge portions with great menu choices to pick from.
The waiters are also brewing your latte (best Chai latte ever) so it might take a few minutes. They are also bussing tables so they are busy!!

My husband and I have been regular customers at Poached Place for quite some time. We visit almost every weekend and often even more than once during the week. Our usual order is the spinach bowl with two extra eggs, along with white toast and jam. Since neither of us can finish a full bowl, we always ask for it to be split into two smaller bowls, which the restaurant used to accommodate without issue.
Today, we had a particularly upsetting experience. We placed our usual order and requested it to be split, only to be told by our server that the kitchen would no longer honor this request, and that this would be the final time they’d do it for us. The tone and manner in which this was communicated were incredibly rude and dismissive. We were made to feel like our business wasn’t valued simply because we weren’t ordering two separate bowls. When I expressed how upsetting that was, the server said he would talk to the manager, went to the kitchen, came back, and simply repeated the same message.
It’s disappointing to be treated this way by a place we’ve supported regularly. A five-second task to split a bowl shouldn’t come at the cost of customer loyalty. What kind of message does this send to regular customers? It felt as though they didn’t care at all whether we were upset, or even if we decided not to return. It was made very clear to us, through both the words and the attitude, that our loyalty meant nothing to them. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a business so willing to disregard regular, paying customers over something as simple as splitting a bowl. After today, we won’t be returning.

Nice small breakfast/brunch in the area. It's nice to have these small establishments so you can enjoy your food in a small, quiet space.

My wife and I have gone here twice and it was good, but today we both got diarrhea almost immediately after eating. Not a pleasant experience.
