I had ordered Pancakes and the Maple Breakfast Biscuit. Both were delicious! I cant say enough good things about the food! I will frequent this place and tell everyone to try it at least once!

Had a delightful brunch at Poachedyyc today! We stopped at a few dinners randomly this morning and all were lined up out the door - surprised there was no wait for a table at Poachedyyc! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a leisurely morning. The service was impeccable, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive.
Enjoyed the Burnt End Cornbread - the cornbread was moist, flavorful, and had a beautiful crust. The burnt ends were tender and packed with rich flavor. My partner had the Halifax Bowl which seems unusual with Canadian style donair meat, sweet sauce, Alberta cheese curds, grilled onions, tomatoes topped with poached eggs BUT she loves it and wiped the late clean.
Absolutely will return to try other dishes on the menu!

This is the second time I have visited this restaurant. The first time I had the lemon blueberry pancakes. This visit I chose the Halifax bowl with homemade donair meat and cheese curds, roasted tomatoes, and I chose to put poached eggs instead of Sunnyside up. The bowl was fantastic. Sweet sauce was perfection. Since I was debating between sweet and salty, this was the perfect choice since it hit both taste profiles. I was also tempted by the fat Elvis bowl, which I will have next time. My boyfriend had the bowl with grilled cornbread, burned pork belly ends, egg, and they were both fantastic meals. I really think this place is underrated. The staff are super friendly. The meals are creative and really well made. Coffee is very good. The overall value is fantastic. One of my favorite features of this restaurant is the owners artwork. She has the most beautiful paintings on the wall, apparently they are her own work. I reluctantly post this because on a Sunday around 10:30 we walked right in without a wait and got front row parking. Which is also a great feature but I'm a little sad they don't get the credit for their fantastic establishment. Five stars is too little for this gem of a place.

2 meals were good but one didn’t come as described at all. It was missing 3 elements. Server was so busy we didn’t want to interrupt to ask about why the food was so different from what was on the menu. Not a terrible experience but not ideal. No bill was provided either just the machine, prefer to see what I’m paying for first.

Service has been terrible in our past few visits, food has taken much longer to come out and coffee refills are non-existent unless you can flag someone down. Our waffle was also burnt and the the server got a few things wrong with our order.
