Such a cool place to eat. Food is also fresh and comes out quick. Definitely recommend!

Fun atmosphere its just that this place is in downtown chinatown out of all places. Not very picky on the atmosphere but the train! Its fun to look at while you order food.

I was pretty excited to try a copycat of the conveyor belt sushi that could be found in Japan here in Calgary… but was rather disappointed by the taste. The ambiance is nice and it is really fun to see this small shinkansen dropping your food at your stall. But other than, I wasn’t impressed by the food. Even though the food looked really nice, the taste wasn’t there: salmon didn’t taste anything, just bland (tried the sockeye salmon sashimi, cream salmon and seared salmon nigiri, salmon carpaccio), the eel/unagi nigiri tasted a bit fishy. Scallop nigiri is also bland, but I don’t know if there should be any flavor to it. And the sweet soy sauce is just overpowering and drown everything else (like on the salmon nigiri and the beek teriyaki bowl rice). I am sad to say I won’t go there next time.

So fun! Went specifically for the bullet train but was pleasantly surprised by the food as well. The restaurant was super clean. Service was always fast and pleasant.

Been here several times in 2024.
Found it on Google maps for the search “sushi train”.
We went purely out of curiosity. The food is ordinary, one cannot say that “I have never tasted such delicious dishes anywhere.” At the same time, the idea with trains is quite interesting and children really like it. The selection of sushi is very small.
On the plus side: it has its own underground parking. If you love sushi/rolls, then I would definitely recommend visiting at least once, and then decide for yourself whether to come again))

My partner and I have come here for our third and fifth anniversary and both times we were pleasantly surprised with how delicious and efficient the dining experience is! It’s always so cute and fun to watch the trains bring your food and makes a nice balance of fun, intimacy, and dining.

Dietary restrictions: You are unable to customize rolls and dishes to exclude ingredients etc. which can be a problem for those with allergies or dietary restrictions.

Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see a wheelchair accessible entrance to the building that the restaurant is located in.

Washroom needs checking, food great i like the tea, very poor customer service as a fellow asian why can't the cashier use the register to split the checks or do the calculations for the bill? They have a box of treats just for those who have enough time complete the pop quiz for their total. I like the idea of trains serving the food but why can't the waitresses do more than just check for if people are ordering more. A sign or notification on the tablet would solve it if you wanna notify every one. Nice to experience once.

Most lazy staff ever. Wouldn’t even divide up the check when the last time we were here they did. And staff were very rude while a group of us were trying to divide up the bill costs ourselves.

The food was really good but I got food poisoning after eating, the service was not good it took 20 minutes to get out seats and we were not happy

We love going here with our kids (toddlers). The trains are super exciting for them, and we love the tablet ordering since we can order as we eat. Service is quick, restaurant and bathrooms are clean. Pricing is great when compared with other larger sushi chains. They have booster seats for little kids, although we didn't end up using them. They also have kids training chopsticks. Overall, a fun experience and affordable. They have free parking in a small covered lot under the building. A little tight to maneuver in and out of but we love the convenience since we have little kids.
