The meals prepared at Pranzo Italiano at Avenida Mall are amazing with excellent service and attention to detail. I am never disappointed. There are so many excellent options!

I got the pasta with red sauce and seafood and it was delicious!!!! The red sauce was tasty and the seafood in the sauce was cooked perfectly.

I got the Margherita pizza. The sauce was bland and disappointing, the mozzarella was very disappointing and chewy, the dough was hard and crunchy like an over cooked pita. it tasted like a cheap frozen pizza.

I ordered pizza, didn’t receive any beeper. Totally forgot about it. They didn’t even look for us that our order was ready. We came in the following day, asking for our order but the guy said he threw it away because we’re not there to pick it up. It’s too bad that we paid the whole thing but didn’t get what we paid for….what a bad customer service!

The porchetta and pesto chicken panini’s are ridiculously tasty and good value! Plus the owner/chef is super nice!

Accidentally ordered lamb instead of beef rib… if you like lamb, omg it’s delicious!

I was in the bathroom and the owner and chef went to the washroom and then didn't wash his hands and left. Just to make it clear, he touched his genitals, rinsed some water on hands and then made people's food. Gross.

We ordered the carbonara and it was a bit bland. Otherwise, it was good. The staff was friendly and order took roughly 7 minutes to be ready.

After reading rave reviews about this place I was disappointed. I had a margarita pizza - the crust was burnt in places, pizza sauce had no tastes did the cheese.

The food is made to order, guaranteeing freshness and deliciousness. Although there's a slight wait (about 15 minutes for me), it's worth every minute. I'll definitely be trying the pizza next time!

Manuch and Bahar are some of the best chefs in Calgary. Lamb so tender you can cut it with a fork and rice cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. Infinitely better quality than $100 plates elsewhere in the city and a much better price. I will absolutely be returning for another plate soon!!

Very delicious authentic Italian food. I throughly enjoyed my meal, I’ll definitely be back.The chef was very friendly and kind. My meal was made very quickly and was cooked to perfection.

The gentleman working here is so kind and takes lots of pride into his cooling. I've had the pleasure of having the chicken and chickpeas, the chicken Alfredo and the lambshank. All of it absolutely fantastic. There's something unique about Avenida as this maybe my 5th review from another restaurant here. I highly recommend if you're craving an Italian style type of food. He also makes dishes and freezes them that you can eat later sold at Mercantile. Love this place.

So amazing! I had a lasagna and my sister got fettuccine Alfredo. Best Italian food ever. They were extremely polite, caring and sweet. <3
