Wonderful place to stay. The attention to detail was perfect. I appreciated the high quality linens and the glassware in the room. It’s nice to not have to drink out of a plastic cup just because you are at a hotel.
Went for a quick drink, took the cashier awhile to even come out from the back. There was one person in front of me and it took about 5 minutes. The cashier did not acknowledge my existence until I ordered. I get an iced chai. They use the same stuff as Starbucks the tazo tea. It was really expensive and the drink was alright nothing special. I would recommend Starbucks or Deville as they are cheaper and taste way better.
Well, the coffee was okay, the almond croissant was fresh and warm, and the overall vibe was pleasant until two very loud ladies entered the room. And yes, it took 5 minutes to get a coffee to go, there were very few customers.

This cafe is wonderful! Food is shockingly tasty! Def recommend the Italian panini, smashburger and choc ganache cake (never know it is gluten free due to an awesome pastry chef.) Gorgeous decor, very high end unique vibe.
And Sam delivers the most kind and thoughtful service. Well done, Sam!

I got a chance to try Prologue today at 630am while waiting for On It bus. I had h&c croissant, mixed berries scone , and coffee, which cost a total of $18.
The baked goods were good, and I expected Scone to come with butter and jam, but it didn't. I asked for them and was given butter. Thanks for that.
The place was nice and quiet at that time so I enjoyed my breakfast moment. Diana was accommodating, and she looked serious. I understand, and I hope she would have her gorgeous smile later part of her shift?
I'd like to try the afternoon tea one of these days.

We went for afternoon tea. Our server was friendly, but once she brought the food, that was it. We were N.E. Ed offered more Prosecco or tea. The cafe is adjacent to the hotel lobby, so the noise of people checking in and kids running around the lobby distracts a bit. Food was just ok. There are nicer afternoon tea places in town.
I called ahead for about allergies one of my guests has and they assured me that they would be able to accommodate this but on the day, they said they were not informed and that there was no options that my friend could eat. So she had nothing. Service was bad overall, food was cold and dry but the cafe itself is very pretty.
Staff appeared inconvenienced by any request or were simply not present, breakfast sandwiches were premade and reheated (still ice cold in the middle). Ended up having a 20% room service charge on our bill even though we ate in the cafe. Would not come back.

We ventured to The Prologue Cafe twice, once at night for a dessert and the next for breakfast.
At night, it turns into a mini lounge vibe, and there’s a live pianist, which is nice. The only thing I’d say is the volume can be lowered a bit. But other than that, good vibes! We ordered “The sin of Dorian”, a 24 layer chocolate cake. It was really good, not super sweet.
For breakfast, we ordered their Breakfast Butty and Avocado Toast. Both were good, but the breakfast butty seemed like it was pre-made and re-heated. Maybe I’m wrong but the English muffin wasn’t crispy toasted on the outside.
They have afternoon tea as well, but we didn’t get a chance to try it.
I’d come back for evening drinks and dessert for sure :)

We sat and waited for someone to take our drink order for almost 30 mins. She was by herself and was doing the best she could. She had a table of 10, a table of 6 and two tables of 2. Was not realistic to expect her to be able to do all of that by herself and provide quality service.
We were excited to come out for a Mother's Day brunch, last time we were there we got offered the high tea despite being a bit early for it and when I asked the server was a bit rude with her answer. Then when we asked to see a drink menu (which we had last time) the server informed us that the drink menu was only for dinner time and when I ask why and explained that we had one last time we came for brunch there was no proper answer. Once everyone who was there for high tea came our server barely came to our table, we received the wrong wings but after 30min we got the right kind, one of us asked for no ginger and had ginger still (it's a food sensitivity), we also asked for a side of mayo for something and that didn't come out for the very over cooked fries. Overall the service was below sub par, and the food was also sub par. Very disappointing considering we had a wonderful experience last time.
Amazing afternoon tea!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly afternoon tea experience was amazing!
