First time but not the last. A spot I’ll totally check out again when visiting Calgary
A vibe is what you get walking thru the door. An entire wall dedicated to all the different spirits. Greeted by a kind hostess who managed to sit us at the bar. Just so we could enjoy the last hour of happy hour. Wish I took a photo of the menu but $9 cocktails I believe. $7 house wine (not rose). A beer was on special too but don’t remember the brand or price. Flights of bao buns was slightly discounted. Either way, we indulged in most of the above. Bao buns was a perfect snack. Pork belly was very flavourful. Drinks washed it down nicely. I noticed on this particular evening it was all women front of house staff. Bartenders , bar backs, hostesses, etc…, killer job. In hindsight I should have taken more photos. Seemed very passionate about crafting cocktails with flair. Fun to watch! I’d say the bartender was not overly friendly and more to the point. Which I didn’t mind considering it was slammed this visit. Overall I’d love to come back maybe for more than two drinks. Instead enjoy cocktails and the vibe for the entire night. People watching thru the window at the tables or chatting up your neighbour’s beside you sitting at the bar.

Fantastic drinks. Struck up a conversation with the owner operator. He suggested plenty of great watering holes to visit. Even ran into him at one of them.

If you're into overpriced cocktails served with a heaping dose of attitude, Proof is your place. The vibe here was all smug stares and nose-in-the-air hipsters acting like they were doing us a favor just by being there. As for the drinks? Let’s just say I’ve had better cocktails at airport bars. They may think they're mixology wizards, but the "craft" here felt like it was crafted in a hurry, with all the charm of a lukewarm soda. Save your money and your patience; Proof isn’t worth either.

I didn't eat the food but the cocktails were marginal. I asked to swap a different kind of tequila for patron as I find patron way too skunky and it was turned down. Which from the perspective of the bartender I can understand. Overall the cocktails looked fancy but tasted subpar and the service was "snobby hipster vibes" after I ordered my cocktail I never received any service from the bar tender.... overall a disappointing experience.

Went for book club and got the Garfield drink! Our server was great and had amazing menu knowledge (which was super helpful because my friend and I are the most indecisive people ever)
Love the cocktails, food and service not so much. It gets quite busy on weekend. Great place for a date night or celebrating something special.

Good drinks at reasonable prices during happy hour. But the service is terrible, it takes 15+ minutes every time you order a drink or want your bill. They need to hire more staff.
