Pretty uninspiring. The menu was odd - not what you would expect from an “Italian kitchen”. It was dead on a Friday night. Among the limited menu, they were out of steak at 6:30 on a Friday evening. Went for my husbands birthday and really felt bad for how much of a letdown the whole experience was.

Very disappointed as it was my daughter's birthday. We thought we were dining at Pubblico and looked online at the menu. When we got to Pubblico we were handed a hard to read Menu for Paper Planes which was a totally different menu. We left without ordering.

Great service. No question there. Not exactly sure what this restaurant is trying to be? Odd menu for food. Dishes are over priced for what you get. Great cocktail menu. Ravioli was great. It's not really an Italian restaurant.

The menu is not the same as on the website. Apparently they are transitioning to another restaurant. So they had limited items. But not one table had their food out yet. And we took our kids there based on the menu online. So if we just left without ordering- what a waste of time.

If you're expecting the menu and atmosphere of Pubblico, that's not what this is. It's a new restaurant that has an entirely different menu that's much like please everyone pub food.

Everything about this place was great. The attentive service, decor, cocktails, and, of course, the food! The strawberry prosecco gelato is what dreams are made of but all of it was fantastic. They were so good with my allergies and double-checked that the brussels did not have nuts. I will be back for sure.

We made reservations for lunch and when we got there it wasn't even open. The guy there did not even have the courtesy to come to the door and advise of same just waved through the window and indicated they did not open until 4:00. We were not the only ones that had reservations. Not impressed.

Came for Valentine’s dinner - first time. Had focaccia with olive oil - asked for some vinegar as that’s how we do bread. The bread was warm, crusty outside, soft inside, good texture. They charged $1.50 for the vinegar which I found odd. We ordered the Brussel sprouts based on all of the recommendations including the server’s. They were very good. I have had better, but they are definitely worth ordering. We ordered the scallops. The cream sauce and mushrooms they came with were incredible. Unfortunately the scallops were ice cold in the middle. We got them fired again for us, and while they were more cooked than the first time, they were still cold in the middle. We gave up on the scallops and ordered calamari. It was nicely seasoned, thin rings, not the least bit rubbery or fishy, accompanied by a couple cream sauces, one of which was a lemon and was my favourite. We ordered the lobster and crab ravioli and pasta carbonara. The ravioli was very good - tender pasta, nice filling, you could taste the lobster. The sauce was very nice, bit of heat from some chilli and came with some chopped roasted broccolini on top. The carbonara was as expected but with a very generous amount of bacon and cheese. Sauce was very flavourful and was a very rich dish. Pasta was cooked well - maybe a tad over but not by much. Had a nice red wine with the meal, although they didn’t carry Malbec which is my go to. Service was wonderful if maybe a bit clunky. Mistakes were made, but they were gracious about it. Experience was a solid 2 hours. Price for the meal and drinks was near $120 before tip. Overall, very busy but very responsive, good food, casual atmosphere, a place to go when you have time to savour the experience. We would go back.

Valentines day special menu. Service was great (pony tail waiter). Wine was great. Food tasted good. I had better chicken Parm before (Joey's). Overall, a solid 4.5 because on a busy day the waiter did a fabulous job.

My husband and I had Valentines Day dinner last night. The vibe was great, just enough privacy to enjoy a romantic dinner balanced with enjoying the energy from around us. The set menu was delicious from the fried brussel sprouts to the steak paired with crab ravioli for a perfect duo of surf and turf. The steak was done to perfection, wine was a perfect addition recommended by our fabulous server Dean. It was such a nice treat to have a date night with my husband, I would highly recommend Publico

Horrible experience, our waiter completely ignored us the whole night, getting service was like piling teeth.waited 1.5 hrs for one appie, another 1/2 for our other 2 appies, then one of our meals was completely forgotten, when beignored us all evening

Small portions, hefty price. Service and quality of food were great but we were very disappointed in the size of portions, ravioli ($26) had 5 pieces, the Ceasar salad ($17) had 12 pieces. Our group spent close to $200 and were starving after we finished. I wouldn't recommend this place at all which is a shame because the service was great, the food tasted great, just awful bang for your buck and you can't spend that kind of money only to leave still being hungry.

Loved it! Went for a late Valentine's date, and the waitress was super helpful and informative. The atmosphere and waiting period was not bad at all. The food was really good. Definitely recommend the parmesan wings. Will definitely go again.

Was very surprised that there was a set menu, despite being told when booking that the full menu would also be available on Valentine's Day. And was quite disappointed when we were told the kitchen was unable to cook the steak medium and that it only came medium rare. It really limited the already limited options. Our entrees were okay. Our drinks arrived after the appetizer which was also a bit disappointing. The server tried and was really nice, but we just weren't impressed overall with the experience.
