Punjabi Chulha Restaurant & Sweet Shop

Recent visit to Calgary decided to get some samosas but very disappointed their samosas no crunch very soggy and chewy total disgusting . Not sure how they run three locations when they don’t even know the basics of the smosas.
It has bubbles every where and absolutely no crunch soft filthy round chewy like something wrapped in Roti.

Fish pakora was ok and customer service is fair

I use to buy sweets and even take food from here almost every month. For last 2 visits we felt the quality of food deteriorated . I bought jalabi and it tasted different, think they changed oil. Next time I bought some gulag jamun which also changed its quality, it was so hard and taste changed , not visit this place anymore.

pathetic service, I ordered food for pickup. I get confirmation that your order is ready after 20 min went there and still they said your order is still preparing. it will take times. last time ordered from this restaurant 👎🏻

Pathetic food and super expensive

Vegetarian options: I recently visited this restaurant punjabi chulha and had a very disappointing experience. The food quality was poor, with dishes that lacked freshness and flavor. On top of that , the service was unacceptable staff were inattentive and seemed unorganized. It was clear that cleanliness and customer were not a priority. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to others based on my experience.

I typically avoid writing negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience. Today, my two friends and I visited the restaurant for lunch, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations.

The starter was unappetizing, while the main course was satisfactory but not exceptional.

The most disappointing aspect was the service. Our server ( A girl don't know her name)didn’t greet us or check in on our meal at any point during our visit. We often had to call her when we needed assistance. Given the total bill, I won't be returning to this location.

Owners, I urge you to hire staff who are attentive and can genuinely engage with your guests. A welcoming attitude goes a long way in enhancing the dining experience.

I gave 4 stars because their dinning is a little disappointing.. Although their food is just awesome.. Reasonable prices…,,, We usually do takeout but would love to eat at the restaurant if they make dinning more fancy please 😊
