Such a wonderful restaurant . Small and quiet and the food is amazing . Bread is a bit overpriced for what you get but the atmosphere is great and the food is even better . The menu changes often which is great as you can sample a variety of dishes and make sure to ask about the feature items not listed on the menu . They can be a very nice surprise !

It's a quaint neighbourhood bistro that punches above its weight. One could be forgiven for passing it by in its humble Oakridge location yet don't let that fool you. Purlieu is well worth the visit.

We dine at this lovely little restaurant every time we visit Calgary. The food is exceptional, the staff is very attentive and the menu is very good. The deep fried calamari was absolutely delicious. We will be back.

The intimate, stylish ambiance, exceptional wine list, refined, inventive menu and culinary excellence is top notch. My dining companion had a stunning and generous! lamb shank and I had the market fish; arctic char with a fresh salsa. Divine. Desert was a real treat: highly recommend the cheesecake with seasonal strawberries. Skilled, creative cooks and warm, attentive, spirited staff. I could not recommend this local gem of a restaurant more highly. I live in Edinburgh and an outing to Purlieu is an absolute must in my book to complete any visit to Calgary. Special shout out to James and Sam who made our evening special!
