This is such a gem for craft beer lovers. Awesome vibe for friends to catch up or for a date night. Unique spot and excellent service. They leave the cans at the table after they pour so you can appreciate what you're drinking. We did a build your own charcuterie for the table which was a hit too.

Unfortunately its a dissapponting experience. The experience didnt go well from the beginning, and the wait time for the food took around 50 minutes, while both appetizers and mains came altogether at the same time (cheese plate, pasta, conserva etc), definitely not what you would expect. Food is okay but service wasnt good at all for many reasons that I really hate for one of them to be true. One of my feedback points is that it would have been nice if any of the waiters/waitresses asked how the food was; just like any other restaurant/bar does.

Definitely not a place I would recommend

Cozy place, I was surprised with how good the food is. The beer selection is top notch, it's about 100 different kinds of beer on the menu.

Went here with high expectations. Unfortunately the service was so so slow. We ordered five dishes and dessert. We had reservations. We walked in and no hostess or anyone came to greet us. Every waiter was dressed in regular clothes so it was hard to tell who was a waiter. We had someone come up to us after a bit of a wait. We were seated. They didn’t have cups for water but asked us to order drinks. We order drinks and surprisingly they have glasses for drinks but not water. Water comes later. We ordered five entrees for four people. We wait forty minutes for the first dish. Beef tartare. Thought it was weird that the dishes dont come all together. Whatever. We ordered dessert and it came early before our fifth dish. The pork I swear is 44th street slow braised pork from Costco. The Rosti was pretty good. They comped us for the dessert coming early saying that it was a misunderstanding on their part even though I heard my SIL ask for it to come after the whole meal. Again dishes were slow. We had to flag down the waiter for the bill at the end. We were there at 6pm. Waiting for five entrees itself, we were done by 7:45pm. A two hour affair for five entrees that were smaller in portion. Moreover, the waitress corrected us on the name of dishes a few times even though it’s really dark and I can’t really read the menu. The menu itself should be printed differently so it’s easier to read. I’m not sure it’s worth coming back…

I recently visited Dog Rain Bar, and I have to say, it was a pretty disappointing experience. First off, the service was incredibly slow. We waited far too long just to get our order taken, and it didn’t get any better from there. It was like the saying "when it rains, it pours" — everything went downhill from the moment we walked in.

To make matters worse, we were charged way more than what the meal was worth. The prices were totally inflated for the quality of food and service. Speaking of the food, the potatoes were undercooked — they were hard and not even close to being crispy. I don’t know how they messed that up, but they did.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, I actually saw one of the chefs drop a pan on the floor and just pick it up and keep going without even bothering to clean it. That’s pretty unsanitary and definitely not what I expect when dining out.

What an incredible spot, the food is top notch, with more beers available to be paired with it than I've seen anywhere else. We've been going here for a few years now and Bil and his crew are the best around. If you haven't tried it yet, make it number one on your list for your next night out!
