Consistently the best! Unreal beer line up, rotating tap list, and a great ever evolving and changing menu. A must for any craft beer enthusiast who also requires delicious food!

Wow! Delicious. Truly unique flavours and atmosphere in Inglewood. Completely different than anything else in the city. Not just a new twist on an ol' favourite dish, but actual forward thinking ingredient combinations that are an undiscovered burst of deliciousness on the palette with every bite.
We love going out for a good, well crafted meal, but as well versed cooks ourselves, we always feel a little let down by a meal that we could have made ourselves at home. Rain Dog is not that. Rain Dog is new and different in the best possible way.
I wouldn’t hesitate for a second recommending this restaurant/ bar to anyone for any occasion.

Raindog is consistently listed as one of Canada’s top bars for a reason.
It’s very cool, very chill, very accepting and very very good.
If you are looking for a “Beer Hall” vibe- it’s the opposite of that.
It’s like a wine bar, but for beer lovers. Menu is a basically a 90’s zeen, everyone knows their stuff and is happy to nerd out a bit with you, if you want to.
Their food menu is low key baller so order everything and share it.
Good for a date, a solo hang with a book or an evening with a few people you actually know and like.
…There are also many lamps in there and B-side cool music in the background.

Amazing experience here, our server Jane was so attentive and made some great food and drink recommendations for us. I haven't received service like that in a while. She made our experience great, and we will definitely be coming back!! Plus, the food is amazing.

This is mine and my man’s favourite spot. It’s a super unique and well executed concept and the food, drinks, vibe and service are unbeatable. My High River boyfriend loves the beef tartare!! Bil and the servers (special shoutout to Maddy) really know their stuff and provide an unforgettable experience every time. This is a must visit in Calgary!

Shockingly poor and unprofessional behaviour from our server (possibly the owner?). From what I could gather, he felt that a group of 10 was too large for his “style” of restaurant and was so rude that we ended up leaving. This was the first time in my life I’ve ever left a 0% tip.

I don’t take it personally — I can only assume he was dealing with some personal issues. Still, I will never return, and I wouldn’t recommend Rain Dog Bar to anyone.

I’ve had dinner there before, and other servers were fine and the food was decent — but it’s just not worth the gamble. There are too many other great local spots nearby that deserve our support.

I’ve been to Raindog Bar several times and always enjoyed it, but after my most recent visit, I won’t be going back- or recommending it to anyone. I was there with a group of friends for a going-away party, and from the moment we walked in, the server (long-haired guy with glasses) seemed irritated with us. Some of us had questions about the menu and his responses were short and snarky. He assumed that we didn’t understand that this bar was not pub-style service- even though we clearly did.

Our group wasn’t loud, rude, or disruptive in any way. At one point, two of us stood up to hug a friend goodbye, and we were rudely told to sit down because we were being a “disturbance.” When the friend who made the reservation tried to address the server’s behavior, we were told to settle our bill and leave.

I’ve worked in everything from high-end restaurants to dive bars around the city, and I’ve never seen staff treat guests with such unnecessary hostility. It was a deranged display of bad attitude that completely ruined the vibe. Unfortunately, no amount of “special” beer or wine listed on sad, stapled paper menus can make up for that kind of treatment.

Absolute worst service I’ve had in the city and I’ve lived here 37 years of my life. Went for some drinks after work to say goodbye to a colleague moving to Italy. The place was dead but it didn’t seem to matter. The server was giving us the cold shoulder the whole time and clearly didn’t want us there. Stood to say goodbye, hug my friend, and ask for the bill. Server comes up and tells me to sit down because “this isn’t a bar”.
My mistake I guess. For those who are curious…Rain Dog Bar isn’t a bar. It’s a fine dining establishment with cheap decor, bar top tables, bar stools, paper menus stapled together, and beer poured out of the can into stemless wine glasses.

When others from the table walked to the server’s station to complain about our treatment, he recommended we all settle up and leave.

If you’re thinking of visiting I would recommend literally anywhere else in town. There are some amazing cocktail bars and restaurants in Calgary and no one should be wasting their time here.

Weeeeird vibe with staff that yell at you for… wanting to see a menu? Trying to pay your bill? Server/owner/whatever tells us “this is a fine dining establishment and you can’t be standing around” when a couple people in our group got up out of their seats to say goodbye because they had to leave early. The guy got so riled that we were “standing around” and scolding us saying “this isn’t a bar” (it’s literally called Rain Dog Bar, it’s high top tables and bar stools, also the place was EMPTY aside from our group)….none of us were “standing around”, they were getting up to leave, and the guy serving us was so pissed when we commented that he was rude to our friends that he literally told us to all settle up / kicked us out. Not sure what his deal is but his weird and shitty treatment of our entire group of 20+ people cost him/his kitchen staff thousands of dollars because he asked us to leave early for no reason. Genuinely it was so slow half the chefs are on their phone, and this dude is throwing a tantrum and tossing out his only customers. Don’t waste your time here. This dude was having a Carmy-level meltdown without the goods to back it up (sloppy decor and stapled menus, only serve beer and wine/no hard liquor - straight up just said “no” when someone in our group requested a gin and tonic, and the literally threw a menu at another person when they were asking about beers on tap). Idk. Don’t waste your time, don’t waste your money, go literally anywhere else within a 2 block radius where you’ll be treated like a valued guest instead of an inconvenience.
