Didn’t enjoy their halwa puri, very oily , they served us store bought Indian pickles which is unusual with halwa puri at least !

Food tastes good but super busy on weekends-poor service, always short staffed and food is not served hot. They ask if you want Chai with food or after but always bring after the food is finished even if we say we want Chai with food. Also, this is the only restaurant where the food is served on table but you have to ask multiple times for plates.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Vegetarian guests beware
I’m very disappointed to find that the chana (chickpea) dish, which is a vegetarian dish, was actually cooked in meat gravy. This is completely unacceptable for those who follow a vegetarian diet. Please be cautious if you’re vegetarian, I expected better transparency but should have been more stereotypical of a Pakistani place

Breakfast- halwa puri is terrible. Not the real deal. Tea was good- we had teabags so added it to the cup. Restaurant was freezing; even the staff was shaking like a leaf.

Raja really has the best Pakistani breakfast in Calgary. Everything was delicious - we had the halwa puri, aloo paratha, omelette and chai. Cant wait to try the rest of their menu!
