My Japanese friend recommended this place, but I was disappointed…(I tried this place twice, ordered 4 different dishes just to make sure)
The broth was okay, the chashus were good but the noodles in ramen were not good at all. They used the same noodles for Tsukemen (Not the thicker noodles shown on picture on the menu).

Their new curry rice dish is too pricey for its quality and it doesn’t taste like Japanese curry.

Very tasty. Love the idea of the lunch bowls.

Overall an okay ramen for Calgary standard, but overrated. The soup is less on the rich and fatty side, leaning on the thinner side. The pork tastes great. At first my partner was given the wrong order, after questioning about it, I noticed my bowl was missing the customizations I requested. A chef came to us as I was inspecting to say my bowl was also the wrong order. When paying, the cashier doesn't provide an itemize bill but uses a calculator and written paper invoice. I cannot calculate her written sum but she overcharged us more than what was ordered.

It’s a hidden spot. Luckily someone recommended it. Otherwise, I wouldn’t by pass this restaurant any chance.
Japanese operated ramen shops, love the black garlic oil ramen with extra noodles.
Soup are pretty rich, not msg type of flavour, more like true authentic Japanese style bone soups.

This is more 3.5 rating. The broth was ok. The cha Siu was good. Egg ok. The broth wasn't bad. What I personally wasn't a fan of was their noodles. Tried both thick and thin. Didn't really like either. And the greens didn't really make sense to me. Hence the lower score.

Fast, quick, and delicious ramen for a fair price. My go to ramen spot.

Simple menu. Focus on doing one thing and be the best. Soup, egg and pork belly cooked perfectly. Chose the thin noodles which was not as good as it could be.. Noodles not as snappy as preferred and not rinsed well. Still, one of the better bowls of ramen Calgary has to offer. Service is friendly and prompt. Noticed chicken cartilage available after finishing ramen. Will be back to try

The veggie ramen was such a disappointment! Looked beautiful but it was essentially tasteless :(. Soup broth was yam-based. Also overpriced as it cost as much as the regular ramens (which came with pork chasiu & egg) but had no high-protein in it - at least put some tofu in! Place was busy and I’m sure the other ramens were tasty, just wouldn’t recommend for vegetarian/vegan people.

Absolutely delicious, very filling! The broth was very flavorful and rich, and the noodles were delicious and perfectly cooked
