Loved the salmon crudo, tuna carpaccio, and even the chicken karaage. The seasonal roll
amazing O-Toro and Akami. And the wagyu was also yum. Can’t wait to go back!

The hand rolls were amazing - everything tasted fresh and very flavorful. I was worried I wouldn’t be full but was very satiated by the 5 roll combo. I highly recommend and will be back.

I wanted to like this place but it was quite underwhelming. I found the price was not worth the quality or the flavour in my opinion. There was a roll that was supposed to have yuzu but it tasted nothing like yuzu, just like lemon syrup. The music playing was also way too loud.

The flavours most importantly were good. I appreciate the yuzu kick. The combo was a good deal. The miso was exceptional.

The rice has decent flavour but a little softer than I would've liked. Also didn't feel like sushi grade rice. I think it was just white or jasmine.

I've been served sushi on slate, ceramic, acrylic but never plastic wrapped bamboo. This doesn't affect the food in anyway but I just found this presentation poor.

We stumbled across this spot by chance, but their review rating is well earned. Hand-rolled maki sushi was scrumptious. Chicken karaage and tofu were freshly made and authentic. If you're nearby, I highly recommend it.

I live in the neighbourhood and really appreciate the food, atmosphere and service here. Handrolls were a bit of a change from what I’m used to, but I’ve come to love them! Quality is very high and service feels very personal.

This Japanese handroll restaurant is always a hit — the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I love that they keep things exciting with “Raw After Dark” on Thursdays, offering exclusive items to try. It’s a fun way to mix things up while still enjoying the amazing handrolls I know and love. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to!

This is definitely some of the best sushi in town. The hand rolls are so fresh and flavourful and the portions are well sized and priced for me. We always have superb service!

The food portion is enough for my family. However it will not enough if you used to have big portion meal. All the food is delicious. Each one of us ordered a lunch set. The seating is sushi bar style which is fun to see the chef preparing the hand roll there. There was a misunderstanding on the order, but the manager and another staff tried to help and solve the problem with haste and deliberately.

Loved it here so much! Really great staff, Jordan was super helpful with recommendations. They had awesome hand rolls and we really enjoyed the tuna carpaccio. The scallop special was delightful as well. I didn’t take a tone of photos as I kept eating everything! Highly recommend you drop by and they’re open for lunch a few days a week as well.

Raw handroll Bar was an incredible experience from start to finish. Everything I tried was amazing fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared but the salmon belly and the lobster hand roll were the real standouts for me. The balance of textures and flavors was spot on and left a lasting impression. On top of the food, the service was attentive and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Easily one of the best sushi spots in Calgary and should be on the Michelin guide at minimum. A place I’ll be coming back to often.
