Very scenic setting. Small place but adequate for the visitors to the park. Good food of choice. Excellent service by very courteous waitresses. Will surely visit again
Parking was not great only one handicap spot, close to the restaurant.
The service was very slow. Our Waitress was great but the food service was not.
I had the ruben. How could you call that a ruben. Two slices of paper thin corned beef on a sandwich with a 1/4 inch of mostly sauce and some saurkraut. I could hardly find that in the mayo type sauce. My friends hamburger was only ok and rhe goulash was passabble. Not as good as the last time we had been there. Rainbow trout was great and the pear and arugala salad was good except the pears were very hard.
Over priced, poorly staffed, slow, claiming wheel chair accessibility, however they used their elevator as a storage and it's the only way to the washrooms. Has 1 parking spot that's wheelchair accessible otherwise a massive uphill is needed, like 30 minutes of pushing uphill. Unable to use the washroom due to the elevator being used as a storage and the staff missed order items, ran food very slowly (tables which came after us were served, finished and left before we got a single item). And to top it all off it was insanely priced. 15$ for two scoops of ice cream. Ludicrous. What was supposed to be a relaxing afternoon for an elderly cancer patient became an awful ordeal.
Fantastic food and service. Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices and a good selection of menu items. The food was delicious and fresh. Friendly staff
Terrible service. Ran out of special at 1230pm. Arugula salad was good. Service was atrocious. No a/c. Beware 18% gratuity if 6 people ... we were not told. Could not get orders straight. The bills were all messed up too. Luckily one of our group noticed it. Won't be back.
Excellent place to enjoy a Brunch Breakfast and some cocktails.
Beautiful atmosphere and gardens, great service and food. My new favorite place I'm Calgary!
This place is a hidden summer gem! Marvellous place for breakfast / brunch. Gardens are spectacular to walk around afterwards. Inner city location with a country cottage feel.
Hannah the wonderful server makes this place just perfect with her beautiful and cosy demeanour.
Food is soo good! Love the Eggs Benedict made with a biscuit/scone base ?
I’ve come here with kids (including a newborn), with other couples, and for a girlfriend’s brunch. Suits all occasions.

Excellent service! The staff were all very kind and helpful. The garden is beautiful, it is a great place to explore and it’s such a cute spot for pictures. The food is average. Definitely worth a visit though!

The food and service in the cafe are inoffensively average. I’ve been there for breakfast and brunch. Its allure is clearly the historic building that is home to the cafe and the surrounding garden. This combination creates a quiet respite in the heart of the city. You must walk up through the garden to get to the cafe so wear sensible shoes for the three-minute walk. After your meal remember to explore all the garden’s winding pathways and take in the beauty of the trees and plant life.

What is special about this cafe is the semi hidden gem of a garden around it. The cafe is ok, but the garden is definitely worth a visit and a way to find a slice of quiet and greenery in the middle of the city.

Such a beautiful location! Rustic and quaint! A great ambiance for intimate gatherings!
Parking: Make sure you park at the base of the hill, there is no parking at the top by the Cafe. There is a bit of a walk up the hill to get to the Cafe.
