I've had lunch here a couple times. Food is delicious and they've always got little deals here and there, which have encouraged me to try different dishes on the menu. The curry is awesome. But I also really enjoyed the 'japanese burger'.

Had dinner at Japa Cafe for the first time, and I was not disappointed! Had a seaweed salad and plate of root veg to start, bother were well done. The seaweed salad was flavourful and crunchy, and the root veg had a sweetness to it that went perfect with the umami flavours. It was happy hour so I had a couple pork skewers, can't believe they were only $1 each! My favorite izakaya food is takoyaki, so I was obligated to order a few - it's nice you can pick how many you want instead of ordering a larger order. They were golden brown and delicious, with just the right amount of gooey center. For my main, I had the traditional katsu sando, and again, what a flavour bomb. The mustard and to katsu sauce were perfect additions to the crispy, succulent pork and the spicy mayo and slaw added a touch of heat and acidity that balanced the dish perfectly. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had!
My server was fast and attentive, and very pleasant with great recommendations!

This was such a delightful place to spend a couple of hours with my friend, enjoying the excellent food and the atmosphere altogether. The restaurant is intimate and welcoming. The staff were very friendly.

I've tried pretty much all of the menu! My favourite part is the curry, I really like how it's slightly sweet. The sausages were so cute since they're octopus shaped! I will be trying their Green Tea Beer next time.
Went for the weekend brunch for the first time, the service was great and quick. The food was amazing, the sliders and japa rice burger were delicious. I will definitely be back!!!
