Had the pleasure of being served by the very handsome tall server today I forgot his name but it was a drink special that tasted fantastic my girls and I got the recommendation of the beef and eggs Benedict the caprese benedict and the traditional Benedict and they all tasted so wonderful if you come here look out for this server he is very soft spoken and was timely with refilling coffee and clearing dishes from our table as well as providing us with stellar breakfast recommendations the staff here have been trained amazingly .. would highly recommend reds diner on 4th!

Had breakfast there this morning and the waitress we had was fantastic, one of the few saving graces. Potate hash was just overly oiled and not seasoned, felt like gaining 5 lbs. Bacon over cooked. Waited roughly 45 minutes for breakfast while other tables came and went. Could not be paid to go back.

Man this place did not disappoint. My husband said his breakfast was probably the best one he has had, and that says something haha. I’m pretty sure the latte truly also was the best I’ve ever had and the cheese sourdough bread is incredible !!.

Amazing food. Even knowing myself and how hard I am to please, everything was absolutely delicious and top-notch. I will definitely be coming back.

Visited Red’s Diner on 4th Street with a friend visiting from out of town who wanted a classic Canadian breakfast experience. We were seated right away, which was awesome because I’ve heard there can be a long wait at times, but after that the service felt slow and frustrating.
It took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive. I ordered the Red’s Big Breakfast. The pancakes were very good and the eggs were cooked well, but the hash potatoes were undercooked, bland, and not crispy at all. I have been here before and remember enjoying them, so this was disappointing. Combined with the long wait, it really put a damper on the experience. The other items that came with the dish were fine.
The atmosphere is nice and not overly loud or chaotic, but the slow service and inconsistent food quality outweighed the positives. Unfortunately, I would not recommend returning or bringing out of town guests here.

Great place, busy, nice upbeat atmosphere. Food is generally excellent except I had the waffles and they were dry. All others breakfasts including my partners looked great.

Your home to a big breakfast. Our table of 7 enjoyed a variety of breakfast dishes. Chorizo hash was tasty but coulda used more spice for me and the toast wasn't hot. Pancakes, vegetarian hash, eggs benny were good also. Hot toast, spicier sausage would have made it a 5 star review.
Service was very friendly and efficient.

First timer here and it was really good. Had the Pacific benny, and a side of seasonal fruit. The food was great, bennies were nice and soft. The seating is small but we got in right away. It's a cute little brick building that has been around for a long time. The servers are super nice and helpful. Very conversational too and present.
Couple things to note: the menu here is NOT accurate.
There's no coke zero, and pop is not bottomless as stated in the menu. First one is paid for, second is free. Third is paid for.
Apparently it's a matter of franchisees trying to be accurate with the rest of the stores. Which, please fix your menu. I'm sure there's other differences not noted. It's really confusing to customers and will probably lead to people being charged higher than they should be. :)
