I’ve been a regular at Richmond Pub for some time now, but after recent experiences, I can confidently say I won’t be returning. While this place is conveniently located near our neighborhood and the staff are friendly, the management—or lack thereof—is deeply concerning.
In just the last month alone, I’ve witnessed multiple bar fights, patrons passed out at VLT machines, and even a woman locked in the bathroom stall with needles for over 45 minutes while her boyfriend fell off his chair, a butane lighter and crack pipe on the floor. These situations are beyond alarming, yet there is no one on staff capable of handling them. It’s clear the team is unprepared to manage the inevitable issues that arise in a bar environment, especially one serving alcohol.
Tonight was the final straw. I saw an intoxicated woman get into a heated argument over a VLT with another patron. Bottles and glasses were smashed, chaos ensued, and once again, no staff member stepped up to take control. Other customers had to intervene, and the police were eventually called. This level of disorganization and lack of security is unacceptable.
It’s evident that Richmond Pub desperately needs trained security or a bouncer on-site. Servers scrambling to find a manager—who seems to have little authority—is not a solution. Coming from a family that owned restaurants and pubs, I can say with certainty this establishment is a ticking time bomb. Without proper management and safety measures, it’s only a matter of time before something truly serious happens.
I no longer feel safe here, and I won’t be back.

Food and atmosphere was good. Service was horrendous. Took almost 25 mins to get a refill on drinks. Never once were we checked up on and made sure our food was ok, or if we needed anything. Not even that busy for an afternoon. It took almost 25 mins just to get the bill. Not sure if we will return. The service ruined the experience for us.

We have been coming on Thursday’s Nights for the last 4 years for the pizza and beer night which has always been great , lately It has been very loud where everyone in the pub is yelling to one another to hear that person talk . I understand for hockey games and the NFL games it will be loud, but an hour before the games the music is very loud . If this continues we will start to look for a different venue .

Is a good place but they put the music too high tou cant even talk. We have been going to richmond pub for 4 years, almost every Thursday, i love this place but when i can’t even talk because is too loud, it makes it very uncomfortable, i love this place but this is making me think that i need to find a different place to go to, I did mention it to the server and she didn't seem to care. I m sorry but the last few times do to the high volumes it has not been an enjoyable experience like it just to be, the rest of the people at my table agreed with me, thy also come every week and looking for a different place due to the same issue. Im going to give this place another chance or moved on. Food was great but too loud.

Overall a great visit. The food was very good but a little inconsistent, I ordered the mini beef dip and it was 5 stars, then I ordered the mini sliders and they were very dry, not just the burger meat but the buns seemed a bit stale.
The staff are extremely friendly and they need more of them. They seemed a little rushed and things took a bit longer than what I think is normal.

They don’t allow kids any time of day, and I’d rather not try to arrange childcare to enjoy brunch on a weekend morning. It sucks, because we live nearby and would come often if this wasn’t the case. I can understand not allowing kids during busy times or in the evening, but all day seems kind of excessive. When we have managed to come check this place out in the evening, the service is severely lacking and the beer is almost always flat. We love pubs and live so close by, we’d love to have an inclusive neighbourhood haunt for those times we don’t feel like cooking. Oh well. Their loss. Plenty of other places in the area that welcome the whole family that’ll get our business.

Decent for a monday afternoon. Steak was prepared as ordered, pasta was above average too, no parmesan. Club was meh, although the poutine was bad, if you wanted warm fries with gravy, then it was good. Service was coonsistently slow and brought our food to the wrong table.
We had an incredibly rude and unenthusiastic server who was too lazy to even answer any questions about the menu, after one drink when we said we were still ok for now... she right away offered the bill, so we rushed out as we obviously did not fell welcomed. Come to think of it, I was here three years ago and something very similar happened, I don’t know if it was the same lady working, she must be so sick of her job if it was.

I have stopped by this pub a few times now, specifically for the Tuesday wing nights. The service has always been great and the wings are even better. There are a variety of flavors and they have a good amount of meat on them and are very fresh tasting. They have unique flavors like Asiago buffalo and Korean bbq (just 2 of my favorites). I have tried all flavors by now and they are all great. The service is always top notch and other items on the menu are also great. They have a happy hour from 3-6pm as well. There are VLTs and a pool table.
