We did the Gelato Academy with Rhea and Daine tonight and I can’t say put to words how great of an experience we had.
I have loved righteous gelato since way back when it was called fiasco, so it was really cool to make my very own flavour today!
I left with so much respect for the company after learning about all the history and company values. We learned they are currently a team of only 40 people that run the whole operation! I was already a huge fan, and can’t wait to continue supporting this amazing company!

My partner and I attended the Gelato Academy and had such an amazing and fun experience. Clayton gave us a very educational tour of the store and was very knowledgeable of the history of the company. He then gave us a taste tour of the different gelato flavours at the front store. Then, Rhia helped us customize our own gelato. She was very accommodating, helpful, and patient with us as we chose our specific flavours and mix-ins for our gelato. The rest of the staff around were also very friendly and welcoming. We appreciate the efforts of Rhia and Clayton who gave us a great experience! We will definitely recommend the cafe, Gelato Academy and the brand in general!

We were gifted Gelato Academy experiences for our wedding 6 years ago and finally got to use them today! It was so much fun, and our hosts Rhia and Clayton were amazing. Rhia was very patient with us as my husband and I had a hard time deciding what type of flavors we wanted our base to have. Clayton gave a great tour with lots of fun tidbits about Righteous Gelato. We loved everything - eating charcuterie, making our own gelato, the gelato tasting and learning all about the company itself. Would highly recommend doing this experience - you won’t be disappointed!

We had an incredible time touring Righteous Gelato in Calgary! From crafting our own gelato to learning the ins and outs of the company’s mission and process, the experience was both fun and inspiring.
Special shoutout to Hargun — she was an absolute gem. She guided our group with warmth and patience, and her knowledge blew us away. The stats and stories she shared clearly took time and dedication to learn, and she delivered it all with genuine enthusiasm.
Venkee was also a standout host — personable, hands-on, and clearly passionate about what Righteous stands for. His leadership style made the whole experience feel welcoming and authentic.
If you’re looking for a team-building activity or just want to dive into the world of gelato with some amazing people, this tour is a must. Thanks again to the Righteous crew for making it such a memorable day!
Went here to pick up some ice cream Pints. The Guy at the front was great(cowboy hat and long dark hair) let me sample 4-5 flavours in the case. Told me about the classes they have to make your own ice cream. Two people came down from the office and spoke to my boyfriend and I outside as we had our dog(Great Dane) with us who is super shy. They were very respectful towards him making sure to give him plenty of space. Thank you!
My fiancé and I did an experience here and had a top notch time! The staff who took us through the experience were such wonderful souls! And this is some seriously dang good gelato! 10/10 would do this again! Rhia & Michelle, thank you!

I come on Sunday for ice cream and see little bit of line because big group take ice cream. We wait some time but Michelle and Clayton was very kind to us and give drinks to me and my husband to say sorry for waiting. Service here is really excellent and staff so friendly and generous. I am happy I find ice cream shop that now will be my regular place.

I recently did the Righteous Gelato Academy experience and enjoyed it (with a few caveats). The staff were incredibly passionate and personable, which made the whole experience even better.
They also offered a really fun and unique array of flavours to explore. My only wish is that my partner and I could have each made our own flavour — since we had to share, we both played it safe instead of experimenting, because otherwise we’d end up with 8 pints of one flavour one of us could hate. I think allowing more exploration would really improve the experience since they have so many flavours to play with! I'd think it would be feasible since the gelato making itself didn't really take that long.
I also didn't find the tour super engaging, I thought it would be more focused on the manufacturing area but it was more-so just a tour of their office. Maybe more time with the tasting stage, or getting a free drink from the cafe would be a better use of this time while we wait for the gelato to freeze!
The experience is pretty expensive and I'm not sure it really ended up being worth that price tag.
That said, it was still a very cool and memorable experience!
