I really enjoyed stopping by -- I opened my laptop to catch up on emails -- it is very close to the Hyatt, the Telus Center, and the Marriott -- perfect getaway from meetings!
Nice and Clean place with good atmosphere, but if you just want a quick beverage, this place may not be for you. Stopped in for a quick tea and coffee.. $12 and 10 minutes later had to ask if its still coming as I was standing there waiting for just a coffee and a tea. Otherwise its great.
Fantastic place for a great coffee or tea and a bite. The Breakfast Sandwich is probably the best I have ever had. Super friendly and helpful staff!
We stopped in for something to eat this morning and some coffee. This place is very busy! It is located on a busy walking street with lots of bars and restaurants, and they have loads of options for both drinks and food. We were going to grab a cappuccino and a regular coffee, but then spotted the sign at the register for Maple Iced Coffee and it totally changed our minds. SO good! My husband had the breakfast sandwich and was really impressed by it. I got a cheese biscuit and had it toasted/grilled with butter to spread on it as the barrista suggested and he was on point! It was delicious. Stop in here if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed. They even have clean washrooms!?
Calgary's downtown winter festival is fab! A couple of events are linked, Chinook Blast and Calgary Glow, even the Exposure Photography Festival. I was downtown to take it all in, and ordered a hot chocolate here. Delicious and pretty.
Stumbled upon this coffee house in downtown Calgary on a business trip - so good I visited twice though. Excellent friendly service, an amazing panini sandwich (Cuban pork - SO good) and really top-level coffee. Clean, covid-friendly and positive in every way possible.
2 Bytes… TASTE. Oat Milk Cappucino & Espresso. Peanut Butter Energy Ball & Cheddar Tea Biscuit. & TALK. Wandered Calgary’s downtown and decided to try Rosso’s - a local coffee roasters with multiple locations. The oat milk gave an earthy creaminess to my Cappucino while the Espresso gave B a pep in his step with it’s toasty, roasted chocolate almond notes! I had barely taken a sip before looking up to see mere crumbs on the plate where the Cheddar Tea Biscuit had been (B clearly hated it) although my awe was diverted with bites of the Peanut Butter Energy Ball - accurately described as a « trail mix granola bar meets peanut butter cookie » - it’s oatty and nutty flavour complimentary to the comforting capp. A great start to the day!
