Not great. My husband had London Fog dilute weak
I had a coffee but wanted oat milk had to put in myself at end of counter. Had to ask staff to pour some of the coffee away or else it would have overflowed.
Had a spinach and feta croissant which was tasty but the brunch bar my husband had was flavourless

I'm really grateful I found this Rosso location. It's a bit off the beaten path on Stephen Ave downtown. It's great for me since its close to my apartment. The people are this location are wonderful and the service is consistent. As far as local Calgary roasters go, Rosso is under rated. P&S and Monogram have more local fan fare but recognized outside of the City Rosso is more well known. As an ex-cafe owner myself I appreciate very much how consistent the coffee is from day to day. They have things dialled in perfectly and have a good amount of options.

I'm thankful for this spot. If you become a regular, they will treat you well. 5/5

This is a quite space in a busy area and very basic in terms of food options. The latte and banana bread was good !

Hei Strawberry

The atmosphere was good.
Clean and tidy.

Drinks were nice. We had the matcha latte and cafe latte. Staff were friendly and quick on orders.
I was not a fan of the breakfast sandwich. I'm not sure what it was, maybe the sauce. We still ate it.
Usually, come here during Otafest. They had the Onix Rockslide, which we didn't get to try, but looked good. Will try the next creative drink another time.

Wow, we grabbed a breakfast sandwich, a cinnamon bun, and iced coffee here, and everything was delicious! Even though it was a busy day, our order was prepared quickly and served fresh. The flavors were really on point, especially the cinnamon bun. The only downside was the staff—they seemed a bit cold and unwelcoming. It felt like they were rushing and not very friendly. Still, the quality of the food made up for it. I’d definitely go back for the taste, just not for the service.

Rosso has to be one of the best coffee's I've ever had and that's saying alot because all I do is drink coffee.

There's nothing like this quality wise outside of Calgary, so if you're local I highly recommend checking them out and supporting, and if you're just visiting I recommend stopping buy and getting their Chai tea latte, it will change your world perspective.

I have had rosso back in Toronto. Thought I would try here while visiting. Wow, what a surprisingly bad experience.

I ordered a flat white (albeit not on the menu) and was asked 8 oz or 10 oz. I said oh can you do shorter, 6 oz. Another individual (not on the till or the current barista) laughed (almost pretentiously) and said 8 oz is the smallest. That’s not a flat white then is it! Don’t offer to do something if you don’t know how.

The barista came over and handed me the coffee and chicken pesto sandwich I ordered (she was pleasant).

Flat white: extremely watery, didn’t taste like anything but milk. Terrible but at least not over extracted. Guess is that this is also not a double ristretto.

Sandwich: I should have taken photos. The chicken tasted odd (?processed), barely any ingredients, was very bland and barely tepid in temperature.

Maybe it’s just this location, but definitely won’t be coming back. Unfortunate.
