We had an outstanding dinner at Roy's. The food was modern, creative, flavour full, unique and moorish. We would highly recommend the Brussel sprouts...and perhaps anything on the menu. The service was outstanding. Great for a date night, special occasion or on your own.

We LOVE Roy’s. It’s our favourite restaurant in the city for a nice date night out. Every single thing on the menu is absolutely mouth wateringly delicious. Roy’s passion shows in the food. Only critique is that sometimes the service can be hit-or-miss, and a bit slow. There have been times where the service is impeccable as well though. Cocktails are good. Atmosphere is nice despite the restaurant being in a such a small venue, it still somehow works. And it’s always got an awesome music selection playing. 9.8/10 (would be 10/10 if the service was more consistent).

Finger licking good! We are on a business trip, and decided to try Roy's. WOW! We were not disappointed. What a fabulous spot. Didn't know what to order, and our fabulous server, Daniel, recommended multiple dishes with enough portions for 5 people so we could all have a bite. Probably one of the best food experiences we've had. The KFC sliders and Brussel sprouts we're our faves, followed by the most delicious donut with Vietnamese coffee ice cream. WOW! Delicious food, great cocktails and amazing service. Highly recommend and would go again in a heartbeat.
Our reservation was 9pm on Friday night. Our server let us know it was last call for food only 30 minutes after sitting down and last call for alcohol was just before 10pm. We were hoping to order a couple of bottles of wine and keep the food coming but unfortunately we felt very rushed out and will not be returning. This is a disappointment because the last time we came with friends we had a great time. Bottom line is you shouldn't accept a 9pm reservation when your kitchen closes 9:30pm.

Felt there was great value and quality in the food. Gochujang wings are the most amazing bite! Wouldn't get the KBBQ pork belly again, but all the small plates and the beef and enoki mushrooms we had were fantastic!

Loved every item that we tried on the menu! We especially enjoyed the Crispy Sushi Rice dish so much that we almost ordered it twice during our time there. Fabulous service and recommendations from our server as well. We definitely will be back!

So much of the menu can be made gluten free, and it was all delicious! We had the crispy rice with salmon, the brussels sprouts, the crispy tofu, and the short rib k-bbq. The staff took great care to make sure they were acknowledging the food allergy when they brought out the dishes, so I felt very confident they were taking it seriously. It was also the best meal my gluten-eating partner ate all week, so the modifications weren't a detriment.Dietary restrictions: Most of the menu is gluten free or can easily be modified to gluten free (without it feeling like a deprivation)

Food was excellent. It came a little fast as we were done in about 30 minutes. Our fault for not asking to slow it down. Ava was great server. We sat at the bar which was fine as not crowded. We had brussel sprouts, spicy chicken thighs and spicy tuna crispy sushi. All excellent.

Amazing, and a must. The vibes, decor, ambiance, music and food makes this place a must for dinner. The service and bartender were superior. Strongly suggest the oxtail dumplings, and kimchi Ceasars salad. It was our first dinner in Calgary, during the holiday season, 2023, and we dined sufficiently. The Playlist was a walk down memory lane. The Ohio Players, Earth Wind and Fire; Bill Withers, Cheryl Lynn, The Gap Band, Commodores, Lakeside, George Clinton, Cameo, Dianna Ross, Micheal Jackson....

Fun place for Korean staples as well as Fusion Asian. We had the crispy rice sushi which was delicious (4 pieces for table of 4) crispy tofu and pork, very good, grilled shishito peppers, short rib wraps (lettuce wraps) and spicy pork and sprouts. Food was all well prepared, drink menu substantial, service friendly and prices reasonable. Only complaint was the noise level, it is a small place, but we could still converse and it was certainly not unreasonable.
