Ruth's Chris Steak House

Came for dinner with another couple and our kids. Their kids menu is fantastic and the staff went above and beyond to accomodate the kids and keep them happy. Food was delicious. Service was amazing. Thank you for a fantastic meal.

First but not last, we will definitely be back again.

From entry till the end, the atmosphere was fantastic.
Scott was great. Take care from beginning till the end! We feel there as being home and same time service was as first class!

Food( steaks) what a beast! I do have tried many steakhouse. Chris became 1st place!
Nice touch of desert from house.
And big shotout in the end gave us complimentary parking ticket, which I wasn't requested.

It was my wife's birthday and we had gone there to celebrate the occasion. They did an amazing job overall. The food was great, the drink was amazing, and the dessert was lovely too. The complimentary parking validation was a nice touch as well. They didn't get to sing for her but its okay

My boyfriend and I come to this restaurant a few times a year for anniversarys/birthdays. All the staff remember us and make us feel special. We even get cute little happy anniversary confetti at our table with a card with the staffs signatures wishing us a happy anniversary!
The food is incredible. Between the two of us, we have had many items from the menu and none of them disappoint. We were upset they got rid of their apple crumble and they said no problem just call the restaurant a couple days before we go and they will make sure to have them just for us. Just amazing!!!
They give you a parking slip so you don't have to pay for parking when you leave, which we appreciate.

Delicious food, we tried the YYC gourmet menu they have going on currently and it did not disappoint, if you're on a budget this place is probably not for you but having said that, you do get what you pay for, the steak was a perfect med rare, the dessert was the icing on the cake....I would highly recommend

I CANT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS PLACE..

first of all when we step into the restaurant, a nice lady in the front will guide us. since we had an appointment, it was a fast process. she hung our coats in the closet, and gave us a number so we can exchange it with our coat at the end.

when we went into the dining area, it looked so clean and neat. the utensils on the table, the napkins, and the plates, they were very symmetrical. she brought us to a table for 2. the view from our sit was IMMACULATE. i am really sensitive about where i sit, as i love taking pictures, but when our table was right infront of the view, i was already in love. she then placed an anniversary card as it was our 2 years!! and she sprinkled stars on top which was so cute.

our server name was a “HANI”, he was very kind and he explained few of the popular menu to us.

the food was great, i found them too salty though, which was unfortunate, however the presentation of the foods were chefs kiss 🤌🏼. they told us that if we order main dish, we need to order a side dish as well. so as you can see in the picture, i ordered the chipotle potato wedges and he ordered sweet potato.

overall the experience was great. it wasn’t too loud nor too quiet, the server kept coming to us to make sure we were doing alright. just hope that the foods weren’t salty, and they are bit too pricy as well, but it’s understandable.

Our meal was delicious as always! Just wanted to share our experiences with the stairs leading to the restaurant, they are very steep and slippery when wearing any kind of dress shoes. My fiancé fell and skinned his knee causing it to bleed !
Please be careful we both fell coming up and down!

Ruth's Chris is always consistent in a good way. This was the first time I've been to this location, and wasn't surprised to have a great time. I took my son and we did the porterhouse for 2. Lol, not a milligram left. Plate looked like a swarm of piranhas hit it. Sides were great. We were way too full for dessert, but we had to do a couple anyway. Cocktail and wine selection was more than adequate for our needs. Can't wait to go back. I wish my family craved beef as much as I do, lol, oh well 🫤

Oscar topping was so bad tasting it was not edible on steak. Most steaks were from the US and not Alberta Beef and most wines from US and only limited Canadian selections.

I liked the food, the service was very good, don't get me wrong, if you want a fancy night out I would definitely say they are a good place for it.
I just think it's overpriced.
Like 1000 bucks for 4 people.
Nothing wrong with the place or food. It was all great!

Food was pretty good, as you’d expect from a high-end steak house. Service wasn’t very nice. Initially the hosts / hostesses were very nice taking our jackets and all, but when it came to ordering the food our waiter just seemed like he didn’t want to serve us, even though the other waiters were quite nice, it felt like we were forced to pay asap as soon as they saw our food was done, got us the bill without even asking for it which we didn’t really appreciate. Got better service at Hy’s Steakhouse. Overall experience is good but I think as always, highly depends on your server, maybe we just got unlucky with a bad server.

Had a wonderful dinner and Scott (our waiter) was top notch.
