We came here with some friends last year and have come back multiple times since then. The food is good, there's a good amount of variety to choose from, and the service has been great. Love the atmosphere. A positive experience every time.

This place is a perfect spot for a date! Beautiful cutie interior, relaxed atmosphere, and a great lunch deals! Mine (see the photo) Katsu lunch was only 16$! What a steal! I really enjoyed it and will be back for sure.

we went here for mother’s day lunch as well as my moms birthday and it was a very special experience. a bit expensive but worth the quality. our server dobby was attentive, knowledgeable, and funny! we never felt rushed and took some of his recommendations. the food was DELICIOUS and tasted very luxurious. i don’t usually like sashimi but it was so smooth here even i liked it! and for dessert my mom got a sparkler and candle in her matcha cake, what a welcome surprise. dobby even took a few pics for us when we didn’t ask him to. would definitely recommend this place for the service, food, and clean atmosphere.

edit: came back here for the second time finally after 2 years, and it was just as good as i remember it! we weren’t too hungry so didn’t order too much. it wasn’t busy at all and had a whole section to ourselves. this time i added pics to my review. can’t wait to be back for a third time, hopefully not so long in between this time

I had my birthday dinner here, the food, ambience, and service was amazing! I definitely recommend coming here if you’re a sushi lover, or even if you’ve never tried sushi before, it is amazing and you will not regret! I had dinner at Ryuko and I enjoyed the food and ambiance. However, I had an unfortunate experience that left me feeling deeply disappointed.

When I first walked in to ask for a table for three, I was immediately told there was no way I could get a table because it was a Saturday and there were already 40 people ahead of me waiting outside in the parking lot. I understood it was a busy night and politely left to consider my options.

About 5 minutes later, the third person in my party—my friend, a man—went in and asked the same question. The exact same host who turned me away just minutes earlier seated him immediately for a table of three, no reservation needed.

I was honestly shocked. I don’t know if this was discrimination based on gender or something else, but it left me feeling hurt and unwelcome—especially since this happened on International Women’s Day.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, and I truly want to highlight that once we were seated, the dining experience was wonderful. But the way I was treated at the door really tainted what should have been a great evening. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback because no guest should ever feel like they were dismissed unfairly.

My wife and I dined at Ryuko South for the first time on March 2nd. We had the Magurocamole as a shared appetizer (nice feature to have a little dry ice come out of the glassware), then we both had the Tonkotsu Ramen (delicious broth and fresh ingredients) and shared the Ikageso Roll (large sized rolls with fresh ingredients. In Young was our attentive server. We highly recommend Ryuko South and, most definitely, we will be back again.

We’ve been here before and absolutely love the food. Tonight we went and didn’t have a reservation. There were no tables available. Dabin, who met us at the door, could have easily turned us away. Instead, he went out of his way and opened up the upstairs for us and served us himself. Incredible service and as usual the food was fantastic. I highly recommend it….reservations would help 😉
