My wife and I have been visiting this place since April 2023, and today was for a special occasion. I'll be specific with this review because this is a Peruvian food restaurant.1- Reservation: There is no need for it, you just drop off. This place also works on Canadian holidays.2- How to get there? We used the train, so we took the Blue Line to 3rd Street Station, then the Red Line to Canyon Meadows, and then we walked for 15 min. You will get to a big place full of restaurants from different countries, and this is right in one of the corners.3- At the restaurant:The menu is pretty varied and prices are as expected; I'd say it is cheaper compared to other restaurants. They have a menu for meals and drinks.4- Our order (photos attached):Dine in: I ordered 1/4 roasted chicken leg with two sides ($15), and my wife a Parihuela ($20). We also ordered a cup of Chicha Morada ($3) and a can Inca Kola ($3) to drink.5- Rating: Overall 5/5, Place 4.5/5, Food 5/5, Service 4.5/5.a) 1/4 roasted chicken leg with two sides: the taste was really good and the portion was more than I expected (rate 5/5).b) Parihuela: taste was good, and portion was good (rate 4.5/5).Recommendations:a) For the customers: find a table before purchasing your meal.b) For the restaurant: serve one more round of sauces for free, we will appreciate it!Finally, I would like to recommend this place to everyone in Calgary and Canada! Please feel free to ask if you have any concerns.

Delicious. Nothing else needs to be said. Had their 1/4 rotisserie chicken, beef empanada, and their seafood rice. The green and red sauce pairs perfectly well with the chicken. The seafood rice is tasty. Plenty of seafood. Portions are good and the food quality is even better. Highly

Food looked and smelled great so I decided to give it a try - I’m glad I did. I had the 1/4 chicken rotisserie meal which comes with fries, fried rice, a salad, and two house made sauces. Salad was super fresh with a nice creamy dressing, chicken was flavourful and moist, fries were crisp, and even the rice was tasty. Highlight was the sauces - really complemented the chicken and fries well. The portions are generous so it’s a great value as well. It’s located in a corner of the Avenida Food Hall and Fresh Market with lots of available seating. The folks running it were warm and friendly.Highly recommended spot for Peruvian food. While I don’t have a lot of experience with this type of cuisine, what I’ve tried was delicious and I intend to come back to sample more dishes.

Unfortunately, our experience is very sad. My wife and I ordered two different dishes. Fried fish and other seafood plate called “leche de tigre”.We asked for the house dressing for the fried fish. One of the employees kindly gave us one. However, the owner scolded the employee (!in public) for attending our request. According to the owner, we received hot sauce therefore we cannot receive another dressing. I returned the dressing when I witnessed the way the owner treated the employee. It was sad to saw the abusive behaviour of the owner for a tiny amount of dressing

Let me say the experience here was my worst ever in ordering after a while. We seldom go out now and the only time we went out I decided to order a tamal and a caramel flan dessert. I see them already pre done on the shelf and so I thought it would be easy. They gave me the number that vibes and left for my table. After 15 minutes it's still not sounding so I went to check and the kitchen help said to just wait for it to sound. Another 15-20 minutes and hubby suggested I go check since we're pretty much both wondering why it's taking so long at this point. Turns out they lost our order.. and the guy even asked me again what I ordered. I was upset.. so then I need to wait another 2 mins- they got it done that quick. The guy who took my order apologized but that's it. I have to ask them to pack it to go since my son is coming home soon from a playdate. So lesson learned - make sure they got your order in line before leaving after you went to check the 2nd time ...

Had the empanadas, excellent! I tried all four flavours. Beef, chicken and garlic were the best out of the four. The ham/cheese and plain chicken were pretty good too. I also tried the Chicha morada juice not bad cinnamon and grape juice I think. It was pretty good, the Mango juice was excellent. Definitely will return.

I just received the worst service from here. I ordered 3 rice dishes (2 paella style and one seafood) on December 22nd for pick up on the 24th (today). When I went to pick up they got the order wrong and they prepared 3 shrimp fried rice instead. The lady at the front who originally took my order blamed me and said “sorry the receipt says three shrimp fried rice” which was either inputted erroneously when I originally ordered or altered to make it look like I was the one in the wrong. The whole kitchen staff shrugged it off and essentially would not take any measure to make things right. I spent nearly $70 dollars for a wrong dish. I advise to anyone ordering here, do not order a large dish ahead of time - they won’t do anything if they make it wrong.

I lived in Peru for almost a year and became quite strict when it comes to Peruvian cuisine. After trying out different restaurants in the city, I have finally found the one with the traditional taste. From Ceviche to Tacu Tacu, this place offers a variety of dishes that will satisfy you.

Food is good but the service is very poor. They have a lot to improve in customer service. Prices are very high for being a food stand.

Excelent customer service, food is divinely delicious. I've been there a lot of times and can't complaint. I've tried most dishes and everything is great. Authentic peruvian food. Keep up the great job.
