Food quality was ok but not good value for small portion size (I had the beef striploin). Had to get a full meal after. That's a bad sign. Venue is way too loud - have to yell to have conservation. Service was slow. Do not sit at the bar - very tight for a guy. We were at a table but saw a few guys jammed in at the bar. Just too pricey for what you get and the venue. Go to Vintages nearby for a nice steak at only slightly more cost.

A great place to have a meal before the game or concert. My husband and I have enjoyed dinner a few times. Lovely atmosphere, the service is good and the food was tasty, pair with a nice glass of wine.

They were great the place was really full and it was right before a concert so a little on the loud side. The service was good we didn't feel rushed the timing was good giving us enough time to get to our seats. The pre-set menu was very good and had good options for the price.

The food at the Saddleroom was a bit hit-and-miss. The crab cakes, although flavorful, were a little dry, and the rectangular shape left them with too many hard, crispy corners that detracted from the texture. The striploin was well-prepared and tasty. While mine had a bit of gristle, my guest's was perfectly tender, so it may just have been an unlucky cut on my part. Unfortunately, the Black Forest cake fell short. Some desserts are best left untouched from their classic form, and this was one of them. The base was simply too dry, and it didn't deliver the rich, moist experience that one expects from such a timeless dessert. One surprising miss was the concert cocktail choice for Heart's performance. A bourbon-based cocktail felt mismatched for a crowd that was overwhelmingly female—bourbon just doesn't seem like the ideal spirit for that demographic. A more approachable option might have been better received. However, the service was absolutely top-notch. Our server provided exceptional, attentive service and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure that even out-of-town guests felt warmly welcomed. Truly a shining example of white hat hospitality. Special mention goes to the Saddleroom Manager, who set an impressive standard. She was everywhere—greeting guests, seating, delivering plates, clearing tables, and even taking the time to make table touches. It was refreshing to see a manager so hands-on and committed to the guest experience. Adding to that personal touch, the chef coming out to visit tables was a delightful surprise. I've never seen this happen in any other area of the Dome and it made the experience feel more personal and welcoming. Overall, while the food had its highs and lows, the service was truly unforgettable setting the Saddleroom apart from other dining experiences at the Dome. Side Note: Educate your concourse staff about the Saddleroom most don't know it exists or its unique experience. They're your best word-of-mouth promoter

Never been disappointed in the saddleroom grill food has always been spectacular. Hard to believe you're in a hockey arena.

I had a great experience at the Saddleroom Grill with my good friend, my son, and his friend before a game at the Saddledome. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent—everything was well-prepared and tasted great. The portion sizes were just right, and everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. It was the perfect spot to grab a quality meal before the game. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the Saddleroom Grill for anyone heading to an event at the Saddledome. Great food, good service, and a convenient location! Will always be coming back until the new arena opens

Service was prompt, very friendly & efficient. The food was fantastic & exceeded our expectations. The portions left us too full to finish our equally delicious desserts! All in all a fantastic meal experience!

Food was lukewarm warm. Service was slow. It is so loud couldn’t hear my party across the table. Not worth $75/plate. Would not recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal before the Detroit game! We were seated very promptly, and Vanessa was a sharp and attentive server. As the dining room was using the chefs tasting menu, it made it choices very straightforward, and kept everyone on time for puck drop. A delicious meal - In fact, it was probably the highlight of the evening, given the result of the game.

Tables are chipped, kitchen staff was bombing cutlery into the drawers the whole game. Fixed menu until the start of the game .., Game menu had s better selection. Won't dine here or buy a ticket again in the Restaurant section.

Great food and awesome spot for your pre game meal. If you're entertaining someone it will impress and you just walk down to your seats after.

Menu options are awesome and interesting. Last few menus have had things that you do not normally see on menus in Calgary. Food is always very well prepared. Hope they bring back the Frog Legs!
