Saffron Bistro (Fine East Indian Take Out & Delivery)

My wife and I order from Saffron quite regularly and the food is always amazing- even my wife, who is vegan, loves their Daal Masoor and coconut rice. Love having such a quality Indian restaurant so close. Thanks guys!

Worst taste ever, when we moved to Calgary, someone told us to try Saffron, we ordered a food for whole family, and that was the biggest mistake ever, but today again somehow ordered noodles, that were no where to close to the taste and tasted like cooked week ago and smelled so bad, please please don't let eat people the food under the name of Indian cuisine

We got food delivery via uber eats.
I believe there is some quality issues or hygiene issues with preparing food.
Naan was over cooked and almost burnt and so hard to eat. Me and my family suffering from stomach ache, diarrhea and vomiting after eating from this restaurant.
Sorry, I don't wanna trouble anyone business, but health is more important.
Thats why i posted this review.
And i wish owner must fix the hygiene and quality issues.

This has to be my worst experience with Indian food in Canada. Visited Calgary and ordered food from here… The paneer was hard as well… Rotis and Naans felt like eating hard paper… Daal was not fresh and smell real bad. And it’s overpriced. Bad Packing… Everything single thing was at its worst.

Everything I’ve tried is so good! I recommend the Baingan bharta.

The food is horrible. They use old stale chicken. We had ordered dry Chilli Chicken which was made with rubbery stale chicken. Taste was also very average. We had ordered chicken momo too. We ordered 2 plates but received only 1 plate. Did the order on Doordash. I would never recommend this place. We were disappointed a lot. The next time we visit Calgary, we would keep in mind to stay away from this resturant.

Giant F U. This is the only Indian Cuisine that charges for rice and doesn't include it in their food.

Delicious food . The butter chicken was soft pieces of breast meat coated in this velvety, creamy sauce. The pakora were perfectly crispy, deliciously paired with mint and tamarind chutneys. The naan is fluffy, soft centre with a beautifully browned side.

But the star for me was the Goat Curry, it was spicy, rich, just enough chew to it but comes right off the bone. Some of the bones even had marrow in them and that is a treasure in of itself.

Went to Calgary for a business trip and ordered some food and I am happy to tell the food was great, I ordered chicken biryani and Palak paneer and both were delicious.
