Food is authentic and although they were out of Pacifico they had lots of other food Mexican drinks too !
My husband Ed and I had a good chat with Alex who is generous and kind and enhanced the experience

Had a reservation at salt and pepper for a family but when we showed up they didn't have a table ready for us and then the proceeded to setup a table for seven that was way to tight for anyone to sit at. They ruined our family dinner and even though we have been there many times before I likely not go back again.

Salt and Pepper is an amazing Mexican restaurant! The food, service, and atmosphere are all awesome. I was tempted to go for the buffet (it looked great and was very affordable), but I would had eaten too much. I ordered a burrito instead — it was delicious! I was secretly hoping for a big serving of rice (I love rice), but they didn’t give me much… so I guess that’s my excuse to come back soon! Can’t wait to dine here again
The food and service were very average however the most disappointing was the several appetizers that we had ordered for our table. Very very small for the $$$$ that was spent. How small? You ever feel you were taken advantage of? Certainly better Mexican food, at much better value, available in Calgary.
