Overall, service was not great. We waited a while to order without anyone checking in and food took longer than you would expect. However, the waitress that served us was great. She adjusted the bill to reflect our meal experience. I had the pozole to start. 6/10, compared to authentic pozole the taste fell short of what I was expecting. Main course was the chile relleno with mole enchilada. The taco side was the highlight. It was delicious. Chile relleno lacked taste. Not a total disappointment but not great. The enchilada meat was dry and lacked flavor. There was very little mole on it so it was hard to even taste it. Refried bean were great. Rice was dry and lacked taste. The mojito was not good. It tasted watered down and it had a soapy aftertaste. The waitress did take it off the bill. Tried a jalapeño lime and a mango jalapeño margaritas. They were delicious.

My son decided to pick this restaurant for his birthday because he'd heard it has very good authentic Mexico food... Well it didn't disappoint. We had 2 reservations for parties of 4 (they don't book larger then 6) but they had no issue sitting us all together. Fantastic, friendly service and great food! We had an awesome time. We also ordered the churro (not on the menu) desert which was devoured in seconds. I would definitely recommend this established Calgary restaurant for its authentic food.

Met up with a friend here for my birthday because the Bowness location was so convenient for both of us. All I can say is that the food was absolutely amazing! I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back again soon.

Excellent service, attentive and entertaining, Fantastic live music (I’m a sucker for Santana). Beef Tocos were fresh and filling, big fan of the beans.
Nice little restaurant in Bowness. We were pleasantly surprised with the kindness of the staff and great tasting food. The band played really nice music. I wanted to stay a little longer just to listen to the music. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

When I walked in the two people there were flirting in the back and I had to yell hello 3 times to get their attention. The building was freezing cold, which did not make for an enjoyable experience and the food did not make up for it. The chorizo and cheese was mushy, a tiny bowl and came with 2 tortillas, not at all worth $13.50. The quasadillas were bland, the sauce was bland, everything needed at least a little salt, but bland is not what you expect from Mexican cuisine. Everything was terribly dissapointing, and took an hour to get my food which is bad considering I was the ONLY person there. I dont understand how people recommend this place.
