I made this review about 8 months ago.I check back every few months to see if there’s a resolution, but I guess they can’t respond even though they find time to respond to every positive review and defend themselves against all negative reviews. Be aware that if you order from Sammy’s and the pizza is incorrect, you will be required to prove they made the order wrong..We grew up ordering from Sammy’s Pizza when they were in Cedarbrae and supported them when they moved to Braeside. The food has always been great, but the customer service the last few years is lacking. When they say your food is going to be ready in 45 minutes, we know that means at least an hour +. So don’t even bother showing up in 45 minutes. Because of this, we started ordering delivery, which takes about 90 minutes. We plan ahead because we know that it takes a while and that’s fine. Recently we had guests and were excited to have Sammy’s pizza with them. We ordered 2 pizzas, and one was wrong, it had an ingredient that 1 person could not eat but everyone else could. We called and told them they made the pizza wrong and they said they could either give us a 10$ credit (on a 30$ pizza that was made wrong) or they would bring the missing ingredient to us and we could put it on ourselves… After explaining that they made the pizza with the wrong topping from the start they agreed to send out a new pizza… but we had to GIVE BACK the one that was made wrong. They wanted the pizza back??? Like we were lying about the fact that it was wrong? 6 people had to share 1 pizza while we waited over an hour for Sammy’s to deliver the correct pizza and take back the cold pizza that they needed so badly. After an hour they brought out another pizza which was also wrong! We gave the pizza back to the delivery driver who acknowledged that the whole situation was quite ridiculous. After this experience we will be taking a long break from Sammy’s pizza. It’s always been a family favourite since we were kids but the inability to correct an order on a single pizza that was made wrong is inconceivable. Trust your costumers and don’t nickel and dime them.

Ordered 12 hot wings and starter Caesar salad. Only received 10 wings and it’s a good thing I like pepper because there was so much on the Caesar salad. The dressing didn’t quite taste the same either. Maybe because there was so much pepper.
I order at 6.57pm and the girl said one hour wait .I went one hour later and there were no pizza's. Not sure how you have people at front desk that can take a order right. Not happy at all .

I have had Sammy‘s pizza previously had a couple of business meetings I have attended. But tonight was the first time we ordered it for ourselves. We ordered the cheese pizza and a Donair pizza. Both pizzas were great, the cheese was very tasty with lots of cheese. Delicious. Now the Donair pizza, I had seen a posting about this online and thought it looked good, but let me tell you it was sensational. If you like Donairs You will definitely love this pizza. It was like a Donair spread out on a pizza with meat lettuce tomato sauce, the works. Absolutely delicious. This is one of Calgary’s best pizza places without a doubt.Vegetarian options: They had many vegetarian choices as well however I did not partakeDietary restrictions: They had lots of vegetarian options as well as a cauliflower crust pizza which I did not try but may on a future visit
