This place is a must try! Just moved to Calgary and my friend has been telling me non stop to try this pizza place. She was SO RIGHT! The CRUST?? PERFECT!!!!! The TOPPINGS?? LOAADED!!! Omg the SAUCE?? Next Level 😍😍

It's hard to mess up Hawaiian pizza, but looks like they've managed. From too thick of the crust (which is not very tasty to begin with), to too much pizza sauce (also not a good quality sauce), it was mediocre at best. When kids don't like their pizza, you know it's not good.

My work place, GroupSource recently got us some Pizza and Val, our wonderful events organizer, got me a gluten-free pizza, and overall, I was pleasantly surprised. The crust was much crispier than I anticipated for gluten-free dough. It didn’t have that weird, grainy texture that some gluten-free pizzas can have. The flavor of the crust was a little more neutral, which made it perfect for complementing the toppings without being too overpowering.
The toppings were fresh and generous, with the cheese melting beautifully over the pizza. I went with a basic chicken and mushroom pizza. The sauce was tangy and flavorful, and it didn’t get soggy under the cheese, which is always a concern with gluten-free crusts.
For those who are gluten-sensitive or gluten-free by choice, this pizza would definitely hit the spot. It’s a great option if you’re craving pizza but want to avoid gluten.
Sammy's is my favourite spot for a donair pizza. My family absolutely loves it, with the shredded lettuce ontop and fresh tomato's it really stands out compared to other donair pizzas I've had around the city.
