We celebrated our anniversary here with the omakase experience. The courses and sake were amazing and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend.

Satsuki is my favourite restaurant ever! Their attention to detail is outstanding. The food is melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I literally make a "mmmm" sound for every bite I take. The waiting staff is exceptional, and the ambiance is tranquil and beautiful. I bring all my friends here and always recommend it to people who love sushi and have never heard of it. 10/10 in every way!

I think this is the best sushi I’ve tried in Calgary. Tasty, creative, beautifully presented. Really liked the staff and ambience. Only complaint is that the spicy tuna big roll was really too big to fit in my mouth 🤷🏼♀️

I cannot say enough good things about the Omakase experience at Satsuki. The amount of attention and explanation we got from the chef, the service we received, and the care placed on the curation of the menu was just outstanding. And that isn't even touching on how absolutely delectable everything was all night! We kept joking as each new thing came out that we had a new favourite dish for the evening! This is definitely an experience we will be returning for, and we're excited to visit to experience the a la carte menu as well!

Good experience but chirashi lunch set is NOT recommended. There were only 2 kinds of fish and a little salmon roe; Egg cubes are comparable if not more than sashimi fish cubes on the rice. It is not a traditional Japanese-style chirashi.

Came here and there was 3 of us and the bill was 370 dollars which is completely outrageous as this place is nowhere near as good as a steakhouse... The blue fin tuna is very good and fresh but the quality of the food does not matter as no sushi is worth 370 for 3 people the price is outrageous and the workers kept forgetting to punch our orders in... Chairs are very uncomfortable and place feels crowded I also couldn't even tell the gender of some of the workers which is very frustrating, the menu is also extremely limited.

Tried this restaurant for the first time and had a great experience. Really enjoyed the sashimi platter (large, fresh portions) and snow crab roll, would order both again. We would like to come back to try the multi course dinner or chef's menu for a special occasion as the food quality was very high.
Lunch special 🍱 was worth it for the price and amount of food. Staff was friendly.
The ice matcha was good and smooth.
Would definitely come again for other menu items.

In the sea of budget sushi restaurants found in Alberta, Satsuki sets itself apart with its quality dishes and by being authentic. The dishes are inventive and traditional at the same time, which makes it such a unique experience. The fish is fabulous and the appetizers are delicious. Yes, it's pricey — but that's what you would expect from such a restaurant.

In my Top 3 best Japanese, IV been going here since they opened and it’s been on point every single time, My first couple experiences were the omakase which was fabulous. The entire menu is amazing, from small plates to mains and desert rocks, I highly recommend if you want to enjoy authentic with a twist.

Me and my partner had dinner here a couple of weeks ago. He had a sweet curry and I had sushi. Both were really delicious and filling - good portion sizes. The atmosphere was nice and calming and staff were lovely, even gave a little basket to put your bag in.
