We tried the kaiseki boxes and all dishes seemed to be quite acidic and one noted. Service was quite slow and inattentive. For the prices, there are several other options available with better taste and service.
Really pretty Kaiseki offering with nice flavors and some really cool ingredient combinations. Would love to see how the set menu changes next time we visit. Awesome service and this felt like an intimate, and authentic Omikase joint. Pricing for kaiseki seems reasonable at $90 pp with 9 dishes and a very nice miso soup. The soy sauce in brewed in house and I'll need to come back to actually try it on something, as the set menu was seasoned, but the spoonful i had was delicious....
We enjoyed the food, my favorite was the sashimi platter...they are very generous with the serving and the fish is also very fresh. Unfortunately, the service was very slow and inattentive. None of our plates were cleared off during the entire time even though they brought other plates to the table. After we finished our meal, we had to waive down a server for the bill as we sat there for 20 minutes waiting. We could see other unimpressed faces as well in the room as they...
