Fantastic Atmosphere, visually pleasing. Food is terrific, always start my dinner with bruschetta, then gnocchi and share a margherita pizza with who ever joins me for dinner. And end the dinner with Tiramisu and an espresso.

Vlad made our night, he was so personable and attentive. He truly made the night special. The food was delicious, with everyone saying the calamari was hands down the best item we tried. The pizza also received great reviews. Scarpetta will definitely become a family staple.

I totally forgot to leave my review for this place, let me just start by saying 10/10! This place came highly recommended by fellow gluten free friends, so I had to try, and the gnocchi dish did not disappoint!! So delish! Service was great and charismatic, food yum, the atmosphere is interesting but it matches the vibe. I just wish it was in a more appealing location, but obviously that doesn’t affect the important things!

Pasta was delicious, pizza was great - Italian crust… but unfortunately, service was just ok. Server was attentive enough, but let me explain. We celebrated a birthday here and were asked if we were celebrating something (yes). We also noted the celebration on our reservation. We ordered two desserts and expected something for the birthday person - usually restaurants do a sparkler, a sprinkled Happy Birthday - a little something to mark the occasion… but there was nothing… Why bother asking us then? It was a let down for sure. When the server started at the other table, they asked the same questions - so clearly just a pro forma scripted conversation - not really to provide meaningful/caring service. Come for the food (and instagrammable surroundings).. but not the depth of warm hospitality for a simple celebration. Would have really liked to have a good full-service Italian restaurant experience in yyc. It showed much promise but was unfulfilled on the service. Too bad.

Meh. Bistecca was cooked very well when asked for medium rare. We had to ask for another. The replacement that came back was more rare than medium rare. Flavour was meh. Pizza was ok. Pasta was also just ok. The standout was the caprese. Overall, service was good; food was meh. Lots of growth needed to be a contender for a great Italian restaurant.
