This new location is very nice! They are still updating some minor pieces, such as lighting and the look of the menu. But it has shaped up to be a beautiful location with familiar favorite dishes! Order some calamari, with an Aperol Spritz and then some pasta and pizza with wine! You won't regret it!

Went for dinner on a friday night with friends. The dining room is quite nice, huge tall ceilings and nice decor. I could totally see a wedding reception being held here. One problem was that due to the setting sun, the building was sooo hot. Our server informed us that they were getting the drapes fixed within the week to hopefully fix that issue (we dined May 30).
Our server was kiersten I believe, and she was great. Attentive but also very personable. Started off with some drinks (aperol spritz, margherita) and I asked for an off menu Hugo spritz which they were happy to make happen minus mint which they didnt havr on hand. Petition to officially add hugo spritz to the menu!!
We ordered a calamari, a pizza, a gnocchi and the calabrese pasta to share between 3. Everything tasted good and was well seasoned. Pasta was nicely al dente. Only note was that I found the pasta portions to be on the smaller side.
The pizza dough was *chef’s kiss* 10/10. Personally, I found this texture to be wonderful. Very airy, crisp but not too chewy that it makes your jaw kinda sore haha (tmj iykyk).
Finished off with the pistachio cheesecake, and it was good but nothing special.
Overall I would definitely go back, especially for pizza :)

I was in for lunch with a couple of my girlfriends and we had the most amazing time! The pizza tasted fresh and the service was fantastic. I can’t remember our servers name, but she was a lovely, tall, dark haired lady. 10/10, will be coming back soon!

Honestly I will not be coming back here after the horrible service we had. My friend walked in and asked to exchange her $100 bill for cash and they wouldn’t do it. They finally sat us down and then after our appys I had to ask for new cutlery. The server asked me “what’s wrong with the ones you used for the appetizer?” While my friend dropped hers on the floor .. they shouldn’t be fighting with us if we want new cutlery!! Then my friends went to the washroom and the server in the stall was being sassy towards them and making them wait! When we got our food the meatballs tasted like they have been prior frozen and not that fresh. Then when we went to pay the server didn’t know how to split it so only one of us had to pay for one appetizer!!! And when we didn’t leave a huge tip the server replies “I should have left gratuity I didn’t think you guys would do that”

We had a reservation at 8:15, got seated around 8:50 and food was served 9:45. The food was great but the service was non existent. At a place that claims to offer a more elevated experience, you’d expect they’d serve you a complimentary drink while we waited for our table, or that you’d get an apology for the delay in the food being served but nothing. At some point we asked the server if the food was taking much longer, her response was “the oven can only fit so many pizzas”. Great for delivery or takeout but otherwise wouldn’t recommend.

Very disappointing. We went there to attend a wedding party. location was inconvenient to find. At entrance staff was not helpful. While going inside carpet was dirty, uneven and pebbly, I almost fell down, want to sue them. There was wired smell in Banquette hall, very disorganized. Appetizers were not available. Washrooms were dirty, no toilet paper was available. Staff was rude. Do not recommend going there.
We held our daughter wedding at Scarpetta this year and had a horrible experience. The owner of the restaurant/ banquet hall met us and assured us that he was ready to offer us everything we needed to make our event memorable. The owner said that he was willing to do everything for us and made quite a few promises that led us to believe he had at our best interest at heart. As such, we trusted him and provided half payments for two events eight months prior. However, once these payments were made, everything changed. The owner became a different person, he brought on an event organizer who was rude and would not respond to our emails and texts. Given this horrible service, we did not feel comfortable providing additional payment, but we were informed by the event planner that if we did not provide the full payment, they would not unlock the door to our venue. This was extremely disconcerting as we had over 200 guests slated to attend but we felt forced to provide continued payments for extremely inadequate service. On the night of first event, when the food did arrive, only a few people were able to get appetizers as the food ran out. We tried calling event manager but as usual, she did not answer. The second event was no better as there were no number signs on the tables so we ended up having to help guests find their seats instead of enjoying the function of our daughter's wedding. Thankfully, our caterer gave us an excellent service as their manager stayed there until the last person was served food. Moreover, the bathrooms attached to the banquet hall were extremely dirty and one out of two bathrooms was out of order. The carpet was also steely dirty despite the owner's repeated assurances that it would be replaced prior to our events. However, once we paid him, he stopped meeting with us and instead sent other representatives of his company. For unknown reasons, the owner also charged us to remove the stage even though we came to know afterwards that stage was not movable. We are planning on rowing legal action over this matter.

This is the worst place to have your functions. We had such a bad experience with the management. The service is so bad and few server were so so rude. The biggest mistake we did was held our 2 functions here. Please don’t book your functions here. They are the worst of worst. We had such a bad experience. This is a family based business and the mom is the meanest server. She is so so bad. We will never ever have any friends or family come here for any functions??????

My wife and I love this place. Always great service and delicious food. The owners are from Italy and it shows in the love that goes into the restaurant. I loved the pescatore and my wife said the cannoli was the best she has had. We are excited for the new restaurant to open downtown and visit soon.
