Ordered a tea on their app. When I arrived they said they didn’t have the tea available… which is fine. When I asked for a refund they said they could give one to me because I bought it on the app. I demanded a manager and said I wanted a refund since they didn’t have what I wanted. Guy in the drive through called his manager and suddenly they had the tea I wanted in the back. I ended up throwing it out anyways because I was afraid the guy spit in it

The lady working the till had her AirPods in her ears the entire time I was trying to get help from her. I was asking a question about a menu item because I have dietary restrictions, just wanted to make sure I didn’t eat something I couldn’t have and she barely said a single word to me. I don’t think she could hear me over whatever she was listening to in her headphones. I ended up leaving without buying anything because the service from her was so poor.

I was deeply dissatisfied with my recent order from your franchise. Our order took 2 and a half hours to arrive, and after the first 45 mins, I tried calling the store multiple times to get an update as to where our order was. After the 5th or 6th attempt, I finally heard back from the store saying that they don’t accept delivery requests online (the Second Cup website), and I had to use Door Dash or Skip. This is fine, but the website shouldn’t have allowed me to choose a location that does not participate in said delivery. I asked about how I could go about getting a refund, and I was told to contact the Second Cup head office directly. I phoned twice, and never got through.
To my surprise, after 2.5 hours, I got a text saying that our order was on its way. Once it showed up, the drinks were terribly underwhelming. One latte tasted extremely burnt/bitter, and another was super sweet (asked for half sweet). The one that was super sweet was supposed to be completely plant based as I have a dairy allergy as stated in the order, however, I had an allergic reaction to the beverage.
I am not one to complain as I spent several years working as a barista in the past, but this service was appalling. Not to mention, we paid $30 for 3 poorly made drinks. I will not be ordering from Second Cup going forward.

I would leave 0 reviews if I could. So many things about this place is just not right. 1- The staff there is rude. I went to get a drink this morning. The lady gave a disgusting stare. Didn’t even ask “Hi what can get you? How are you today?” It felt racist. 2- the drink was so average. Nothing special. I ordered the pink oat chai, the syrup wasn’t even mixed properly. It all settled in the bottom. 3- no wifi at a cafe?? You got to be kidding. She said “I can actually give you the password for the building next door” that’s literally stealing. Avoid this place at all cost.
