I was not happy with this location's service. When I walked in, the worker was on his phone and did not pay attention to me. Even while I was ordering my drink, he was still looking at his phone and trying to take my order. This was not professional. Also, the drink I ordered was not good. I ordered a latte and it tasted worse than Tim Hortons. I would not recommend this location.

Principal complaint with this location is the quality of coffee and food. The coffee tastes significantly diluted and they never offer one of their premium roasts - they only really offer Paradiso and a flavour. It feels like they’re cheaping out on coffee grinds.

The pastry offerings are factory made, and the atmosphere is very cold.

They don’t care about quality or experience, just to get your money (and a tip).

I do remember when you would go into this place during Christmas and it would be fully decorated, with Christmas music playing, and smiles everywhere… and the place was jammed. Sigh.

Stopped by expecting a decent cup to start my day, but this was a huge disappointment. The latte tasted burnt, the milk was barely warm, and there was zero foam, just a sad, watery mess. I could’ve made something better at home with instant coffee and tap water. For the price they charge, it’s unacceptable, buddy at the store should think about a career change.

Today I was there and asked for a large iced coffee but she gave me a medium , She was very rude and didn’t even say sorry for the mistake she made.
The thing is, if she doesn’t know English, she shouldn’t be working there, and if she is rude, she should be trained!!!

I had a really disappointing experience at Second Cup recently. One of the employees was cleaning the bathroom and then went straight to prepare my frozen hot chocolate—without using any soap, just a quick rinse with water.

That’s a serious hygiene concern, especially in a food service setting. As soon as we saw this, we decided to throw out both drinks. It’s unfortunate, because we were really looking forward to them.

I’ve always liked Second Cup, but this experience makes me question the cleanliness standards. I hope this is addressed so it doesn’t happen to other customers.

Quite blah. The service was extremely slow. The one lady at the counter was friendly but honestly slower than ever, had to read the instructions to make each drink which took about 10 minutes each( there were only 2of us) and mine was absolutely disgusting.

Staff member was rude to myself and another customer regarding the hours of operation. Both Google and the Second Cup website FOR THIS LOCATION said they were open until 8/9. I was surprised to be condescendingly told they close at 6 when I arrived to meet a friend at 5:45. The other customer in the shop suggested politely that they adjust the hours online and was met with “we aren’t affiliated with that.” Unnecessarily rude and also that does not make sense, you can definitely adjust the hours online. Based on other reviews the hours have been misaligned for months with no resolution. Having worked as a barista myself I understand wanting to close on time, but the rudeness was not required. Will not be back.

coffee was good, place is pretty, but the baristas are very rude. scoffed at us when we were waiting. we even said hello first because they were just looking at us and standing. specifically the girl, but i didnt get her name cus i was too pissed to even ask.
