Really cool concept and love being able to play classic console games. Reserving a spot was a bit confusing as my friend called and gave her name and number for the time we were able to be there but the previous group didn't leave until almost half an hour later. Then we were told they don't do reservations and it's only first come first serve, yet we had to pay 10$ each to play for an hour. Drinks and food were ok and took a while to receive but I felt bad because there was only one person working.

So here is a thing … when the idea is amazing , execution is poor . First of all , I have tried to come 3 different times , it says cafe is open at 11 , all 3 days there was no one there , one day I waited till 11.30 , finally today someone was there . Service was terrible, with almost zero customer service , food was so bad ! I didn’t know you can screw up waffles , but you can , they were cold and hard , and second of our servings had wrong topping , with plastic cutlery and cold waffles there was so graceful way of eating it , and our two drinks were so awful we didn’t even drink them , it was london fog that should be tea , syrup and warm milk - I got not even warm Milk with syrup , I am sure there was no tea there , and latter tasted like not very warm milk and double run espresso shot that tasted like dirty water . It was recommend in a “Calgary passport “ book as a Must visit cafe , I left with dissapointed , still Hungry , not caffeinated and charged 35$ … please don’t waste your time . As you see I don’t do bad reviews often … but this one was pure disappointment .

First time travelling to Calgary, and visiting a place like this makes me wish I lived here.Weekly smash tournaments, great food, fantastic video game themed atmosphere, and an amazing owner.Safe to say, will definitely be stopping by this awesome video game cafe whenever I am back!
