I ordered Gamjatang and Tteokbokki. I wish the meat in the Gamjatang was more cooked. It's not undercooked, I wish they'd boil it a bit more. The Tteokbokki was very spicy. However, a kind male staff member brought me more broth and water without me having to ask. If you tell me in advance what side dishes I can order with the Tteokbokki, it will taste even better.
Pleasantly surprised by this unassuming spot. Got the gamtang soup (it's the first time I tried it) and really liked it! I thought it would be light in flavour but quite the opposite. Nice slices of beef brisket in the soup and rice noodles too. Comes with rice and the side dishes per usual. But be careful, it's piping hot you will be guaranteed to burn your tongue at least once! Definitely a great spot for hot soup on a rainy day.
It seems like a Korean restaurant that Koreans don't come to very often. It felt like there were almost no green onions in the seafood pancake and it was 70% pancake powder! The seasoning was really good, but I was a little disappointed.
