Great atmosphere, great drinks and great employees. All of Austens suggestions and serving was spot on. Excellent explanation of menu items and drinks. No question as to what came to our table when Austen explained it. Amazing atmosphere paired with great service. Will go time and time again. Small venue but the staff made it well worth it. We bought bartenders choice shots for a friends birthday and at the end of the night they picked up the round. I cannot rave about this place enough. Top 3 Negronis I’ve ever tried.

What a great experience! The bar is small & intimate. The bartender and manager were so attentive and will suggest a drink or make one specific to your liking. The pop-up chef’s desserts were amazing!

Stumbled on this bar, small but sophisticated. Seems like a little secret, one of those places I want to keep to myself.
1. Service was personal and attentive, our server was named Zaren. Highly knowledgeable and provided curated suggestions on and off the menu. 2. Atmosphere was impeccable, low lighting good decorations feels special. Makes you feel like you found this place.
Will be back again due to service and delicious drinks. Perfect for groups of 2-4.

This is the first poor review I have written on Google.
I recently visited Shelter Cocktail Bar with some international colleagues, and unfortunately, our experience was marred by the rude and unprofessional behavior of a staff member. From the moment we entered, the server was dismissive and abrasive. She informed us of a “one bill policy” and a mandatory 20% gratuity for groups of six or more, which we understood and accepted.
Initially, there were only five of us. However, when three more colleagues arrived and sat at a different table, the server insisted that we all be on the same bill because we “knew each other.” We were baffled and asked for clarification, to which she replied that she needed to speak with the manager.
A few minutes later, she returned, claiming the manager confirmed the policy that anyone who knows each other must be on the same bill, regardless of seating arrangements. When we requested to speak with the manager ourselves, she curtly responded that she was the manager. Her attitude was condescending and unprofessional, leaving us all embarrassed.
While I understand the need for establishments to have policies in place, the way this situation was handled was completely inappropriate. I strongly recommend that the owner conduct training for the staff on customer service and effective communication. Such training could help avoid misunderstandings like this in the future and ensure that all patrons feel welcome and respected.

Came here for drinks. Their cocktails are a must try! Incredibly creative and lots of choices to personalize it as your own. They offer very interesting concoctions. The only apprehension I had after was the whisky with the fat was a little too rich for my taste buds... But to each their own.

Amazing spot! The service was absolutely on point and the drinks....life Changing. Paulina, the mixologist taught me things about my palette I didn't know existed. 11/10 experience!!!
What a gem of a spot! A little hidden which adds to the vibe - we almost walked right past it. Very cool interior and the drinks are absolutely incredible. We will definitely be back!

I and my school friend were meeting after a long time and wanted to have something light so we went for cocktails.
And for the first time we literally just walk past by the bar and didn’t notice it, so we came back looking for it and when we went inside it gives that feeling where you’d like to sit with friends drink and enjoy.
I really liked both the drinks, for food they only had 2 options one of them was popcorns actually. Would have liked it more if they had atleast fries or fried onions maybe.
I would still definitely recommend to go and try this place.
Parking: You can find street parking nearby and after 9 on weekdays i guess its free and after 6 on weekends its free.
