Shibuya Izakaya Sushi Restaurant

Had a great time at Shibuya, newly reopened in the NE Street Mall in Calgary. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. Service was awesome and our waitress was super friendly and gave great recommendations. We shared a sushi platter and it was more than enough for two. The agedashi tofu was flavorful, and topped perfectly with green onions. Loved all the rolls, especially the Mango Paradise, which is one of my favorites. The vibe was perfect for catching up with a friend and just chilling. Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and quality time. Big thanks to Jenny and the team for such a great experience. Will definitely be back.

Amazing food and great service. My wife is celiac and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful about what we could order for her. They also had gf California rolls (which she sometimes cant have cause of the crab meat) and also gf teriyaki sauce.

Reallyy good ramen for cheap, as well as their sushi!! Range is $17-18 for ramen - it is one size, good for 1-2 people. Worth it for what's in the bowl, they put three slices of meat, whereas other restos put 1 and the price is 20+. Their servers are super nice and they make sure we have no complications. The atmosphere is comforting as well, their booths are spacious and have high walls - more privacy between the other booths. I definitely recommend, it is now my family's go to place after church!
