Honestly, what a gem. Probably the best coffee I’ve had in Calgary. Possibly I’m ruined now, because wow, this is what coffee should taste like. Beautiful, full bodied, roasted to perfection, a lack of acidity. Have had multiple drinks here in the past, but a straight up coffee is a good measure of quality, and it was perfection.
They’ve a small selection of pastries and food. I’ve absolutely enjoyed some of their pastries. Will now make a point of going to try other menu items, though I do wish for more vegetarian options, but I suppose easy enough to order and omit meat.
This place is a gem, there is typically a line, but it moves fast and the staff are lovely.

Wow . Beautiful Cafe. Truly appreciate seeing a local artist featured here. Made my morning seeing not just a well laid out cozy cafe but the walls adorned with beautiful oil paintings. Had a fantastic Bacon and cheese scone , great coffee . Menu board looks fabulous as well. Highly recommended if in Lakeview or heading to Glenmore Park ....you could get all the fixins for a yummy picnic.

A nice place to dine in but not for a long time to sit and work. The chairs are wooden and hard to sit comfortably. I got the burrito breakfast and was delicious. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The place gets quite busy and has some loyal customers I guess.

Our family goes out of our way to support this great local owner and operated coffee shop. Always a great vibe, bright sunny windows, fresh art and great food & drink. Luckily it’s on the way to school drop off.

All I have to say is WOW. Today was our first time visiting Sierra Cafe and we will be back. Fantastic service and absolutely amazing coffee and food. We ordered the eggnog latte, tuxedo mocha, smoked salmon bagel and a breakfast sandwich and they were so good. The prices are very fair and everything we had was delicious!

Had a wonderful time at this cafe. Justin was very kind and welcoming. We had the spiced maple nut latte and tirasmisu white mocha latte. Both very good! Highly recommend the grilled cheese sandwiches!
