Silver Dragon Restaurant (Calgary)

The worth Chinese restaurant I have never done. This is just incredible to serve this kind of things. Even the wine was bad.

Great place for chinese food and you feel like your in one of those sophisticated chinese places the price is on the higher side though but the food was good and atmosphere is nice.

My absolutely favorite dim sum restaurant! We've been going here for years and always try to say hi to Wendy our favorite cart lady who always brings us the items we love the most!
The staff is friendly and food is fantastic!

Ordered take out Friday night. The Order was $143 plus tip:

Ginger Beef: at least one or two days old, tough, batter was soft and tasteless

Almond Chicken: again a couple days old, not fresh nor crisp batter. The batter was chewy and overly salty. Ghastly and worst I have ever had.

Chow Mien: passable but not fresh. Too salty and too much sauce.

Veg Fried Rice: 6 out of 10 but edible.

Sweet and Sour Pork: neither fresh, sweet or sour. Tasted like it has been sitting for days and re-heated.

Two Spring Rolls: Good overall.

The place was not overly busy and waited for an hour. Server was very good though.

Decent Dim Sum.

Came here for dimsum awhile ago, the food was not fresh and more expensive than other places. The lady rolling the cart around was also rude

This place was recommended and it was soooo good!!! The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive and the place was very well kept. I'll definitely be back!!!

Loved my experience here! A great variety of meals, all served hot and in good portions. There’s also a nice selection of drinks to choose from. Definitely great value for money. The waitresses were smartly dressed, courteous, and very polite — excellent service all around

Truly the worse meal I've had and so dissappointed as I have had so many good memories of the silver dragon since childhood. The lesson I learned, is if you are one of the very few Asians in the resturant, best head up center street
