We are happy to find this amazing place, as we feel like we are back home. We love to eat Pares and their Pares have that taste that we always have back home. This is definitely a must try when you visit Calgary!

I would give them a 1 star. Too pricey for the minimal amount of food that you get. The taste however is really good. Would give it a 5 star. Ordered the Pares Meal with rice $12ish comes with rice and soup but the meat is only 3 pcs. Also we ordered the Buddy Sharing Pares only comes with Stew and soup it was $19.99 but only comes with 5 pcs of meat. You just have to enjoy the rest of the meal with the sauce of the stew and rice. I know inflation hits all of us, but maybe get a new supplier next time? Contacted them by email, but didnt get a response. Had they change their portion sizes, i might give it a try next time.

Recently tried Sky’s Food Co. and must say that the food was quite decent. Got their beef caldereta. Which was very tender and flavourful. Also got their air fried liempo with java rice and atchara. The atchara with the fatty pork belly, complimented each other well and was perfect with the java rice. Hubs got their bicol express. Didn’t try it, so can’t comment it. Each meal also came with a soup on the side. It was nice and garlicky. Though a bit salty for me. Overall twas a good experience.

Poor service!The cashier guy with beard was unprofessional!Too expensive for one order not even a meal for $18+. Rice not included! Very small amount base on the price! It is a self service food resto.Ambience not good! Looks like there was a misunderstanding between crews!Patatim less meat served, mostly fat!The laing was less amount too! And noticed it was spreadout on a plate using fork just to look a lot.We spend $120+ for the 4 of us!Not Recommended!
