I love the Bingsu and the staff is very helpful 🫶🏻
They do not have smoothies. Very incorrect.
To the recent response: Yeah seriously.
My experience at Snowy Village Cafe was disappointing enough to warrant one. The place was noticeably dirty — tables weren’t cleaned, the floor was sticky, and the overall environment felt unkempt. What made it worse was the rude customer service. Staff were dismissive and unhelpful, and it felt like any basic question or request was an inconvenience to them. I had heard good things about this place, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. Definitely not coming back.
Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Dirty Environment
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this dessert shop was truly disappointing. I had high expectations based on the photos and reviews, but the service was far from acceptable.
First of all, the staff were completely uninterested and unwelcoming. They didn’t even offer a basic greeting and treated customers with a cold, unfriendly attitude the entire time, which made the visit very uncomfortable. When we finally placed our order, the cashier was rude and acted as if we were bothering her just by being there.
Secondly, my friend ordered a dessert based on a poster displayed in the store. However, when I tried to order the same thing, we realized the cashier had entered the wrong item—something completely different from what was shown on the poster. When my friend pointed it out, the cashier immediately responded in a blaming tone, insisting it was her mistake. It wasn’t until my friend pointed at the poster and asked, “Does the image match the description?” that the cashier finally acknowledged the issue.
Instead of apologizing, she rolled her eyes at my friend and called over another staff member to fix the order. The situation was handled with an awful attitude, leaving a really bad impression.
Lastly, the environment was dirty and poorly maintained. If you’re hoping to find a clean place to sit, good luck—not a single table was clean. My friend had to wipe down a table herself before we could sit down, which is honestly unacceptable for any place that serves food.
As for the desserts themselves, they were average at best—not worth the price or the wait. Considering how many great dessert spots there are in the city, I definitely won’t be coming back.
If you're looking for good service and a pleasant place to enjoy your sweets, I recommend going elsewhere.
Service 0/5

I would like to give this place a zero if I could for the following reasons:
1. Service was horrible. I tried their coconut pudding bowl last month and loved it. Despite the location being far from home, I have recommended to go there with my friends yesterday. However, the experience was extremely disappointing. Their wall menu is cluttered and hard to read, so I ordered based on a poster that clearly said “mango pomelo sago with coconut pudding.” Instead, they have ordered a drink for me with extra coconut pudding as a topping. When I politely pointed out the mistake, they corrected the order—but with a visibly annoyed and frustrated attitude, as if I were the one at fault. I don’t work there, and I’m not familiar with their confusing menu. Is it too much to expect courteous service when a mistake is made? I wasn’t even upset at first, but their attitude made the experience worse. If I could go back in time before payment, I’d leave a 0% tip.
2. The place is absolutely disgusting with all the dirty tables. NONE of the tables were clean. I had to use their grimy, dark cloth (which made me seriously question their health inspection standards) to wipe a table clean myself. To make things worse, when I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, I saw they had left supplies piled up right in front of the bathroom door. The overall sense of hygiene was unacceptable.
The food might be decent, but the service and cleanliness completely ruined the experience. I will NEVER return—and I definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone again.
The Bingsoo always slaps, the service is great, and to cap it off, their tip option starts at 8%. None of this 20% starting tip bologna, a very refreshing experience.
Bingsu will always be one of my favourite go-to summer treats and the numerous options at Snowy Village don’t miss. It also being close to the university makes it a nice treat.
Great for late night dessert. Portion size is not as big as others. Price is on the high side not very affordable anymore.

I still think that Snowy Village has the best shaved-ice dessert in the city. Their bingsu was so flavourful and they use real fruits too. I like that the staff told us not to get the mango bingsu (late October) because it’s not on season, hence it’s not going to be that sweet. I appreciate that honesty, so we decide to try their strawberry bingsu instead. It is as good as the mango bingsu we loved. We also tried their signature snowy bowl with mochi bites, sweet tofu, jello, brown sugar pearls, and red beans. I like the textures of the toppings combined, plus it wasn’t too sweet so no more guilt! The place could be organized or designed a little better, but overall I’d drive far to come back here and try their other offerings next time.

Waited 30 min on a Sunday evening.
My fist time here and trying these type of desserts. Was craving for some mango dessert and the Mango Bingsoo did not disappoint! I was amazed at how well this dessert came together. Its so different from the Singapore ice kacang that im used to. My kiddos had the oreo bingsoo and they absolutely loved it too. The prices were reasonable but the place is slightly dated. We will be back to try their hot desserts during the winter.

Good dessert but overrated. Decent portion for the price but it’s mostly ice with no flavour.
