I still think that Snowy Village has the best shaved-ice dessert in the city. Their bingsu was so flavourful and they use real fruits too. I like that the staff told us not to get the mango bingsu (late October) because it’s not on season, hence it’s not going to be that sweet. I appreciate that honesty, so we decide to try their strawberry bingsu instead. It is as good as the mango bingsu we loved. We also tried their signature snowy bowl with mochi bites, sweet tofu, jello, brown sugar pearls, and red beans. I like the textures of the toppings combined, plus it wasn’t too sweet so no more guilt! The place could be organized or designed a little better, but overall I’d drive far to come back here and try their other offerings next time.

Waited 30 min on a Sunday evening.

My fist time here and trying these type of desserts. Was craving for some mango dessert and the Mango Bingsoo did not disappoint! I was amazed at how well this dessert came together. Its so different from the Singapore ice kacang that im used to. My kiddos had the oreo bingsoo and they absolutely loved it too. The prices were reasonable but the place is slightly dated. We will be back to try their hot desserts during the winter.
Good dessert but overrated. Decent portion for the price but it’s mostly ice with no flavour.

Well we went on a Sunday night and there was a huge line but the staff did not take orders until like 15 mins for the people first in the line which I think ended up maintaining a long line… frustrating and had to leave the place. Lazy or what? So disappointing for the people who had to drive all the way to get there and find out it was too long of a wait to eat anything there.
Addendum: I value my time to whoever commented below and if you are going to stop taking orders tell the customers. Calgary is just short of the places that do this type of dessert and if there are other places that do this obviously wouldn’t have visited this one

We love Bingsoo, strawberry and mango are our favourites. We tried the air fryer chicken too this time. It was a steep price but luckily it was so much better than we were expecting. There were only 2 employees and it was constantly busy so you do have to wait a little bit for your order. Possibly because they are busy, the tables do not get cleaned up or wiped. There is also one table up front that is covered in supplies for the shop, a little odd to me. The table was covered with things the last time we visited too. There is a washroom if needed but I’d skip that if you can. The treats make it worth the visit, if they cleaned up the dining area I’d give them a higher rating.

Ordered a strawberry bensoon and wait for over 20 minutes. This place is very understaffed as four people working while the lineup is way too long. The quality is pretty mediocre and just like the other places. Definitely not worth the hype. Could have gone to other places.
