Found a hair in my food, and instead of making a new one, the took the hair out and gave it back to me.

When we walked in we weren’t greeted or seated, lady at the register didn’t seem like she was in the best mood

Bingso was good. Also got an ice matcha tea latte, only tasted like milk and barely tasted like matcha. It looked grey.

Went into the washroom, toilet was not clean and the hand dryer sounded like it was gonna blow up.

Says on google they close at 11, we went at 10:34 they said they cant serve us because they are “close” and “last call is 10:30”. It should not say that it closes at 11 if they can’t serve us at 10:34. And so rude about it.

Ordered take out and either had to get a small or a large, no medium available. They pack ingredients separately and actually kept well for the 20 min or more before we got home. Shared it and it was a lot for 2 people! But it is expensive in my opinion for ice, condensed milk and strawberries.

Their mango bingsoo is so good! Especially on a hot day :)

Best bingsoo and grass jelly bowls I've had in Calgary! The fresh fruit is so good and there are so mant shaved ice options. The ice is light and melts in your mouth. The grass jelly comes with a variety of toppings and is so good when you pour the oolong tea on top. 10/10!

I'm unsure of whether this was cooked, we chewed into it and the texture of this was off, was slimy and felt like it was uncooked. after one bite i just split it open to see, this is what i see.

Also server wasnt very nice, no emotion whatsoever.

They do not have smoothies. Very incorrect.

To the recent response: Yeah seriously.

My experience at Snowy Village Cafe was disappointing enough to warrant one. The place was noticeably dirty — tables weren’t cleaned, the floor was sticky, and the overall environment felt unkempt. What made it worse was the rude customer service. Staff were dismissive and unhelpful, and it felt like any basic question or request was an inconvenience to them. I had heard good things about this place, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. Definitely not coming back.

Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Dirty Environment

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this dessert shop was truly disappointing. I had high expectations based on the photos and reviews, but the service was far from acceptable.

First of all, the staff were completely uninterested and unwelcoming. They didn’t even offer a basic greeting and treated customers with a cold, unfriendly attitude the entire time, which made the visit very uncomfortable. When we finally placed our order, the cashier was rude and acted as if we were bothering her just by being there.

Secondly, my friend ordered a dessert based on a poster displayed in the store. However, when I tried to order the same thing, we realized the cashier had entered the wrong item—something completely different from what was shown on the poster. When my friend pointed it out, the cashier immediately responded in a blaming tone, insisting it was her mistake. It wasn’t until my friend pointed at the poster and asked, “Does the image match the description?” that the cashier finally acknowledged the issue.

Instead of apologizing, she rolled her eyes at my friend and called over another staff member to fix the order. The situation was handled with an awful attitude, leaving a really bad impression.

Lastly, the environment was dirty and poorly maintained. If you’re hoping to find a clean place to sit, good luck—not a single table was clean. My friend had to wipe down a table herself before we could sit down, which is honestly unacceptable for any place that serves food.

As for the desserts themselves, they were average at best—not worth the price or the wait. Considering how many great dessert spots there are in the city, I definitely won’t be coming back.

If you're looking for good service and a pleasant place to enjoy your sweets, I recommend going elsewhere.
