The shaved ice is so creamy for some reason I don't know how they do it, the other reviews are probably just having a bad day.

Huge portion size! We got a large chocolate Bingsoo and it was delicious! They layered chocolate sauce inside the snow.
I loved the custard taiyaki!

So i finally tried this place the other day and I like it. I like that it's not too sweet like some other desserts. I got the matcha one cus I love matcha and red beans. Thought it could use a little more red beans though. Oh and you can actually do half and half and that's what I'm gonna do next time.

Overall it's not bad and quite refreshing on a hot day.

Unique desserts

It’s not going to blow your mind but it’s good. They could add a bit more topping portion. I feel like the shaved ice to topping ratio is a bit off. You end up with lots of ice without any topping eventually. But overall it’s good.

I like North Location.
This was first time south Location.
They do not have small cup size like North location. That’s sad.
Pretty longer to wait but it’s okay.
But taste was different. Table was so dirty sticky, service was not a nice. Cashier and server ( same person) she just drop off the our order without any words.
Prefer to go North location.

I recently tried the Mango Bingsoo, Green Grape Bingsoo, and Pizza Taiyaki at Snowy Village, and they were all fantastic!

The “Mango Bingsoo” is super refreshing—soft shaved ice with sweet, juicy mangoes. It’s like a tropical escape in a bowl. The “Green Grape Bingsoo” was just as good, with fresh grapes that added a nice tartness. Both bingsoos were light, sweet, and perfect for a hot day.

The “Pizza Taiyaki” was a fun surprise! Crispy on the outside, cheesy and savory on the inside—it's comfort food with a cool twist.

Definitely recommend trying all three if you're at Snowy Village!

We’ve tried several flavours of the bingsoo and they are all delicious! Portion is huge, very shareable, but still pretty light dessert. Definitely recommended!!!

Came here a couple weeks ago with a group of 6 people about an hour before closing. I have been to snowy village before in the northwest of calgary before so I expected alot from this location

There were several unpleasant points of the location.
-Garbage was piled up and dishes were left by the garbage area.
-Tables were not wiped now and had to be wiped after we were seated
-When we got our bingsoo the little sharing cups it came with were dirty, not like one or two were dirty BUT 4/6 of the cups were dirty!!
-After gathering the dirty cups i rang the bell twice and it took the worker to come out after a couple minutes (a little slow but its okay until i realized later that there was 4 people working during that time)
-They got us new cups but as he was going through the stack of clean cups, it seemed like almost 70% of them were dirty....
The poor guy had to keep on looking for clean cups in the stack.

Although the taste of the bingsoo is the same as the north (but the mangos were small) its overall an okay experience, i think my next experience will be better if they can fix some of the hygiene issues.

Ordered a red bean latte, got a plain sweetened milk with some red beans in it with no espresso. When it’s clearly under coffee and tea menu. When questioned, the manager adamantly told me that’s just how they been selling it without offering a solution which I get but that’s just terrible customer service. I’m sure in Canada when you order a latte, you would expect a coffee drink.

reply: Please do not patronize your customer with the literal definition of the word "latte", I am well aware of what the word means. Its why i said "in canada when you order a latte" people naturally presume you order a cafe latte. So all im saying is the general Canadian presumption is that. And maybe where you are from, your general presumption is different. But you're in Canada now.
With that being said, I did not misrepresent the matter. Yes he did offer an espresso shot. But I did not want it because to me that is simply not the way you deal with a customer complaint. It is simply poor and subpar. Instead of resolving the matter by quickly clarifying then giving the customer an espresso shot, he stood there and argued with the customer for a good 5 minutes. Its not the matter of how much it is but rather the principle of it. Maybe delivering quality customer service is something your business is foreign to but i sure hope its something you would strive for in your future. A better clarification on the menu is certainly needed.

It was not impressed with the flavor. The sizes are a bit ridiculous too. Why would I want to order something that's big enough for three people when it's just for me?
Ended up leaving more than half of my bowl. The chocolate one looks nothing like the picture and had what appeared to be a large globe of chocolate milk chocolate sauce right in the center but we were very underwhelmed and disappointed.

The shave ice on this shop is better the other shave ice store. We have been here probably four times already.
