Snowy Village Dessert Cafe

The bingsu was good. I consider myself a bingsu specialist and by far, this was definitely one of the more unique ones. The bingsu itself had a texture like that of snow, which isn't a bad thing, but isn't my preference. They also had an incredible selection of flavors which you won't find anywhere else in Calgary without driving for an hour. I highly recommend going, and I'll definitely be back when I have the time.

Interesting decor. A good cup of coffee or tea (plus all the usual options) and some delicious looking desserts based on Korean traditions.

After waiting 5 minutes at the front till to place my order, I phoned the store only to ask the lady
that answered if she was able to take my order. After placing order it took 10-15 minutes to receive. Came to realize that all product prep is done outside of clients eyes at back of store. Service very poor, unpleasant and slow. Product - presentation good, lacks flavour. Will not be returning!

Went yesterday. Had awesome experience. The dessert was great. Customer service was exceptional. Indian lady working there was very
friendly. Keep up the good work team

Shaved ice I had was decent but small for the price compared to other places I've been to, the server weren't very welcoming, no emotions. However the popcorn chicken in the picture...... I inquired about it and they said it is cooked....the texture was off, I compared with some other pieces and it didn't look like this. I first ate it withiut looking, it tasted a bit slimy and spongey so i split it open to look, im unsure of what im seeing.

Our first Bingsoo. We got the Espresso desert w fresh espresso poured over the top. It was amazing! Love that its a healthier dessert. The portions are huge so a small is enough for 2 people. Delicious!

My family and I came here for dessert after our dinner at a restaurant. Everything tasted great. We would come back here again.

The dessert itself is soooo delicious, but we went and ordered two regulars and it took over 40 minutes. There was one other family in the restaurant, they received their order, ate the entire thing and had been gone for a while before we received our to go order. There was only one person working, I was shocked by the wait. Even though it’s so delicious, I’m unsure if I’ll ever be back. Two stars are only because it’s truly delicious, but for the price and the wait time it’s hard to make it worth it.

$20 for a bowl of mushy watermelon and flavored crushed ice

Fantastic Korean shaved ice (bingsu) dessert place. They have a good selection of toppings to add onto the milky shaved ice!

We arrived at 8:50 pm and didn’t receive our dessert until 9:40 pm… 50 minutes for a single melon dessert. Only one person working — this is unacceptable and that poor girl was run off of her feet taking orders and making the desserts.

The dessert was flavourful and well-presented, but we won’t be coming back until they start staffing this location properly.

This is a VERY good desert place! Just keep in mind that it takes a little longer for them to assemble the desserts. They literally take pride and time to make it look picture perfect! Give them a try on a quiet night. (Don't forget to tip them for their attention to detail)

ambience and place is nice. location from our place is near, portions as big but for the Flavor, its very lacking , i have tried alot of bingsu(bingsoo) before, other places provide a side of sweetened milk atleast to add and enhance the taste , i hope they do the same here, its just shaved ice with toppings, didnt finish my bowl - and for the price, its very pricey for its quality

Extremely long wait time. No flavor. Sure it is a big portion but just big shaved iced. Topping looks nice but reaaaalllly thin layer of graham cracker and thru out there is sprinkle of cracker but taste like nothing. Did not finish my bowl. Very disappointed and will not recommend this place and will not he back. Waste of my $17. Very frustrated
