This will forever be my favourite place for Bun Bo Hue and Rare Beef Salad! I have gone to other restaurants and had the same, but nothing can beat the flavour of Song Huong’s.

Quite disappointed. Came here when it was still at the old location and the bun bo hue was very tasty. This is my third time at the new location (came when it first moved, a year after that, and today) and it lacked flavour and only tasted of salt. There was barely any meat in it and the soup and meat were simply way too salty. Won't be returning anymore unfortunately.

Very nice restaurant with great food and reasonable prices. I've been here a few times, and I've been impressed each time.

I do not know if this is a one of or what. But, here is the gist of it. My friend from out of town has come to calgary a handful of times and his favorite dish of all time is BUN BO HUE. Every single time he comes I have been trying to take him to this place but every time we went it was either closed for day of or closed for holiday. But, today we finally made it and I was PROUD to tell him it was the best in the city. I even asked a bunch of people in the place to confirm it while we order. The TRUTH is it's not as good as I remembered anymore. Confirmed by eveyone who was with us and my friend has told me I have taken him to better places in the city. I was disappointed and ashamed, the service was great. But the food, flavour and taste is very lacking, especially in the ingredients department. I feel bad I TALKED SUCH A BIG GAME about this place even up until after ordering and when the food and condiments game the flavour experiance didn't match. Not mad just SAD.

Their Bun Bo Hue was gotten a little worse every time I've visited. Lacks a lot of flavour and the young adults that work there do the bare minimal so expect mediocre service unless you're family or friends.

Small, average Pho place. Portions small and overpriced. I left hungry but refused to spend anymore money. If you're a light eater and dont mind the prices, it's decent, but for someone from Toronto who knows Pho, I am disappointed in Calgary.

Never again, lost three customers today but don't think they'll care. At least, that's how you are made to feel as a customer.

You can definitely see the lack of passion now, staff look miserable. Tables are available but they won't seat customers, even though there are about ten people waiting to be seated. They're busy because of the fame they have. It's ironic, usually vietnamese restaurants are quick, efficient. Definitely not the case here. The space is big, but they don't even want to add tables and chairs to maximize turn over, or so customers don't have to wait.

We ordered spring rolls, XL pho, XL BBH, and the raw beef. The pho was sad, as pictured. Not even a full beef ball, got 3/4 of one. BBH was decent but no longer has pork hock. Sate is removed from the tables now. The raw beef was okay, and I have to agree with the other chef review. It's a lazy approach.

The raw beef is not just raw but also frozen! So bizarre. Another comment pointed that out and I wanted to see it for myself! It still seems to be very popular but it’s a very bizarre combo in mouth. Spring rolls were pretty nice and combo is pretty gigantic for $17.95 (lots of noodles). Nothing special vs other restaurants aside from the size. Service was extremely rushed. They just bring stuff over. That’s it.
