Food was incredibly over priced for what you get , the Carbonara was the worst i have ever had, the chairs were the most uncomfortable chairs you will ever sit in. Will not return, the server was good, but don't really have anything else good to say.

Had heard good things so have it a go. Nice little place, great people and service, food was 50/50. The focaccia bread was dry, like hard dry, like day old bread left on the counter. Carbonara was ok but was flat in flavours. Chicken parm, good tomato sauce but chicken a little dry. Arancini was good. Brussel sprouts were really good.
Prices were about normal but I expected better food.

Had a great dinner at Sorella. We ordered a bunch of food to share with the whole table. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. The standout for me was the Tagliata, which was a boneless ribeye and cooked medium rare. The Brussels sprouts had a nice char and the spicy honey sauce was a good compliment. The gnocchi was fresh and the pesto was delicious. The calamari was okay, I thought I’d get a more elevated version, but it was a good appetizer. Service was great, although it can be a bit slow at times. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great as well. If you have a chance, order the lemon tiramisu (forgot to take a picture) it was the perfect dessert. I usually don’t like lemon dessert, but this was the perfect balance of sweetness and lemon flavour. Also, compliments to the Bartender, as my La Dolce Vita cocktail was delicious. This restaurant is on the expensive side and the portions are small, but if you’re willing to share with your dinner guests, I’m sure you’ll find a dish you’ll like.

Parking: This is right on the main strip of Centre Street. They do have parking at the back of the building, but it’s shared with other restaurants, and you’ll have to be aware of the parking signs about who is allowed to park there. There are street parking by houses, and it’s first come first serve and make sure to pay attention at the parking signs. There’s some areas that only allow 2 hour parking.

Called in advance to book - a voice message said to book on line - online booking showed only three option 4:30,4:45 and 8:30- I wanted to book 6pm for 3 ppl . I left a voice message with my phone number- no response.

So decide to go in person - was told that there is a table but it is reserved for 7:15 and we had to finish by then. Agreed since that was 1:45 minutes away. So we were told again about the 7:15 by the same person then - another person, who became our server for the night again told us the same thing how we have to vacate at 7:15 - even though we confirmed we are aware. It felt unwelcoming .

chairs were uncomfortable .
we encountered a very strange exchange - when we said what we want to order the server keep mentions to us that- yes you can share that for three - and it was bizar to us that even though we are ordering individually- instead of assisting us with the actual menus whatever we mentioned any thing he keeps telling that we share in three.

It was very unpleasant that we had to deal this kind of unusual behaviour- on a night out where you just want to enjoy the company and good food now you have to contend with constant remarks about sharing food .

a rushed service - even at the end when we asked for the one bill - he said he would split the bill in three - so have to repeat my self to bring one bill. even when we ordered desert -he said 2 desert and we can share for three. Had to repeat that we want three desert .

The whole experience was unpleasant.
And I might add that after we left that table was not occupied by anyone and the restaurant had more than few table that were empty for the duration of our stay and after we left those table were still empty . and the very table we were sitting was also not occupied after we left as we were driving by and was still empty.

Found the whole thing incredibly bizarre.

2024. I went twice recently. Service was fine. Place was clean. Roof view is nice but lots of bugs on the roof when i went.

But the food was underwhelming. Its okay but $30 for pasta thats only okay is a bit much. Friends also found the food only okay. But also.. the most recent time they charged for water and didnt warn us, which is why im leaving this review since thats kinda crazy. Service was okay other than not warning us about the water. Its not a lot for the water but its more the principle. I know the economy is bad but damn...

Cannot believe that the proportions were MUCH smaller in take out vs dine in especially when there’s no price difference. We were very shocked that the pasta didn’t even fill half the containers and were very disappointed

We always enjoy dining at Sorellas. It's a great local restaurant easily accessible off of Centre Street, away from the downtown core. Beautiful modern seating backdrop, warm and welcoming upon arrival, upscale quality food and good wine list. Service is high standard, friendly and accomodating. Relaxed and casual dining so one can enjoy both for week-day dinners as well as a special event meal.

Really lovely friendly server although a bit slow for the size of the restaurant and lack of customers. Food was good, perhaps a little high of a price point for what it was. Atmosphere was beautiful, definitely paying for the trendy style and prestige rather than the actual experience. Fine to try for a night out but probably won't be back.

I had heard they have good mocktails, ne was not disappointed. They re also great for gluten aware options. I had delicious calamari, Caesar salad, bolognese pasta and gelato, along with 2 mocktails, The atmosphere was lively, I would have preferred less thumping music. Hubby is hard of hearing, and the noise level was higher than these 60+ folks prefer. I will definitely return.

Food was so rich and heavy, so far from real Italian cuisine. The steak was more fat than meat, everything had a heavy sauce, octopus was overcooked, and the torte was basically a brownie. The only positive was the service and the atmosphere. If they revamped the entire menu I would go back.

Amazing food but horrible service. They did not have a high chair for my 1-1/2 year old. Do not go here if you have a child who requires a high chair because they won’t be able to accommodate you. They are not family friendly.

We've been looking for a proper Italian place for some time now and Sorella delivered. The food is outstanding and the service was great. I love the quiet in the restaurant so that everyone can enjoy their own conversations.
The only downside is that it's pricey but the quality of the food matches the price.
I highly recommend the carbonara which is as traditional as you can get and the amazing risotto.
Shout out to Emma for being an amazing server!
