Had a great dinner out at Southland Yard. I was skeptical at first because it's a hotel restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised. There are tons of gluten free options, and the food was pretty good. The atmosphere is updated with lots to do - board games, pool, cornhole, pinball etc. I'd recommend stopping by!

We went for Trivia and I was surprised by the quality of food! The staff were efficient and fast and the Trivia was great!Vegetarian options: Could accommodate our vegan and vegetarian friends.

Service here is the worst in Calgary city limits. I have walked in and sat directly in front of the bartender and was ignored a full 10 minutes by everyone working in here. I don't know if this is because I am not a white person or what but it was definitely weird to be hungry and ignored here for such a long time. Plenty of other non racist establishments to go in the city though and tip over 30%. I don't even drink alcohol I just wanted to eat.(Sincerely a well dressed professional non white person)
The service was very poor. The waitress did not check in with us once. Food tasted good but made my boyfriend and I sick, and the atmosphere was all over the place.

So we've been waiting over 45 mins for our bill. We've spoken to our waitress 5 times and she's still never around. Everything else is great but apparently the service is down. I'm not sure. This is ridiculous honestly. It was so much fun until we tried to pay.

Food was good, drink prices are a little bit on the high side, but large selection. Service was great The layout of this place is odd. No real good view of the TV's without turning your head sideways. Except at the bar. They have a large amount of game tables. Pool, shuffle board, cheese to name a few. Fun place for that.
