Overall this place is passable for a cafeteria to grab a bite while you visit. Most of the food is pretty bland and standard. The pretzel bites need work they were disappointing compared to others I've had elsewhere. I do highly recommend the brisket bannock on the limited summer menu. It was delicious. I hope they expand this eatery to include more intentional meals like this, inspired by indigenous cuisine or more creative science themed meals like the planetary icecream...
Prices are on the high side but it's the cost of supporting Telus Spark. The good thing is the entree bowls didn't leave us hungry for more. I had the bulgogi pulled pork which was ok but i tried a piece of my kid's lemongrass grilled chicken which I liked better.
Excellent quality and prices, great selection! My kids and I make an annual trip from Edmonton to Calgary to visit the zoo and the Telus Spark Centre. We visited the Social Eatery for lunch, and were very impressed with the superb menu selection and customer service. The cafeteria changed in March 2016 and is far superior to the previous one.
