Absolutely fantastic experience at Spiros! The food was delicious—authentic, fresh, and full of flavour. We tried the calamari to start and it was perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. The menu offers a great selection of Greek and Italian dishes, and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.
The atmosphere inside is cozy, fun, and full of charm—bright colors, Greek décor, and a welcoming vibe that makes you feel at home. The service was also top-notch: warm, friendly, and attentive from start to finish.
Definitely one of the best spots in town for comfort food and a great night out. Highly recommend!

It wasn't overly busy when we arrived and the waitress wasn't overly pleasant. We got some decent food. I got the famous lamb meal at 40$ you get a lot.of lamb but it seemed a little pricey. Tasty, full flavored food but nothing amazing

I had not been to Spiros for years. I went back in July 2025. The food is delicious. One of the best pizzas I have had in Calgary (or elsewhere). And I am a pizza fanatic.
Customer service is also incredible. This is a family run business, and at least one of the family members is always there.
The place is a real treasure.

We are from the States and I have had many gluten-free pizzas. Spires Gluten-free pizza is the best I have ever had! The homemade crust is thick, buttery and delicious! I will be back every time I return to Calgary. The service is amazing and it feels like we were eating in their home! Thank you for the hospitality and amazing dinner!

Our time at Spiros was so delicious and so authentic, we would definitely travel out of the way to visit here again. We had a six different dishes, and every single one was authentic and flavorful. Our server was the owner, who was absolutely A joy to have. We enjoyed sharing stories about our six daughters, and every single one of them loved their food. Do not miss this place if you want the best Greek in Canada.

Its been awhile since i was at Spiro's. It saddened my heart when i read that Mr Spiro had passed. I'll def miss seeing the hummer parked in the parking lot driving by. I was introduced by him while working for telus. I always had a service call at his restaurant with lines going out. Old copper lines and being at the end of the line def caused multiple service calls. I came across my facebook post with my first visit meeting the big guy...Cheers to entire family....

The greek dishes are the highlight here! We love the greek dishes, specifically their lamb shank dishes, and the calamari appetizer. The pizza is deep dish, which has its fans for sure.
Service is very friendly, however the place stays pretty busy and they treat their patrons like family, so don't expect a quick in/out experience.
