A charming little establishment. Charming and homey decors, intimate seats, and a stupendous service and quality of food. We got the Saganaki cheese to start, The Moussaka and braised lamb for main, and shared a baclava for dessert. All of it was amazing with generous portions.

Do not order the veal parmigiana.
We ordered tonight and the veal was soggy, flavourless and a much smaller portion than usual. This has been our favourite meal at Spiros for two decades.
When I called to let the restaurant know that we were not happy with quality of the veal, the owner acknowledged that they have a supply issue and this veal product is getting soggy.
For an entree that costs $35, I was disappointed they would not inform customers about the new veal and let people know it is much different than their usual. Or better yet, take it off the menu so people don’t unnecessarily spent $35 on a terrible entree and choose a much higher quality entree option.

I was raving about Spiros to my husband as I had very fond memories eating here 10 years ago! However, for this meal, it was a bit disappointing. The chicken was overcooked which made it chewy and the lamb was not flavorful. The calamari and fries were soggy and not very fresh. Tzatziki was delicious.

I was very excited to try Spiros after many years and it was pretty disappointing to say the least. The fries were soggy and the calamari breading was also not crispy. The chicken was way overcooked and tough to eat and the lamb was a bit overcooked and not very flavorful. On the upside, the lemon potato and rice pilaf were pretty good.

Such a heartwarming + romantic dinner at Spiros! The staff made us feel at home our whole visit. We shared the spanakopita to start, chicken souvlaki and the cheese cake to finish was out of this world, it was so light and rich we have never had a cheese cake like it before. The red wine was very aromatic and delicious they import directly from Greece. I could have had a couple bottles to myself! Everything was so fresh and authentic we still talk about how good all the food was, we are so happy we stopped in on our recent trip to Calgary ♥️ !

We went here Friday evening with some friends. My husband and shared a pizza. It was the best pizza I have ever had. The service was amazing. We will going back for sure.
This place is incredible... one of the best pizzas we have ordered in a long time... cheesy goodness!!! 🧀 😋♥️ We will definitely be back when we are in Calgary!

Decided to drop by and have a meal before our flight back to Montreal.
We were missing Greek food from home so we decided to have a big meal after not eating all day.
Let me say from the moment we entered until the moment we left the entire experience was welcome and delightful.
The food was authentic (high praise from my wife who is Greek) and the lamb in particular was an absolute highlight. We ordered a bunch of dishes from salads to calamari to the pan cooked cheese and the whole thing was exactly what we were looking for. Food was flavourful, fresh, prepared quick and generous in portion.
Had a nice cocktail and beer as well while enjoying the decor which was honestly both cosy and visually interesting with plenty of things we both appreciated especially on top of the amazing food.
Sad we didn’t get to visit sooner in our trip but in all honesty? We heard about the place as two people walked past talking about it in the beltline and thought? Why not.
Highly recommend for food, staff and atmosphere. Please drop by and support a local Greek business because I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
