I love the taste of the hot italian sausage but the size of the link has dropped dramatically so much so that it take 2 sausages now to fill a bun. They claim they are the same size as they have always been so I am editing this review i have tried again 2 weeks later and same issue the hot Italian sausage links are smaller. The mild for example touch both sides of the tray and have a slight bend in them as they are very slightly larger than the tray but the hot Italian don't touch the side of the tray at all they are substantially smaller. I will provide photo proof in the next few days. I love the taste of the hot Italian sausage but I don't like the shrinkage

I recently ordered seven sandwiches from Spolumbo’s Italian Market for a business event, and I was really impressed with their catering service. I made a very last-minute request for an earlier delivery, and they were incredibly accommodating. The sandwiches arrived on time and were fresh, tasty, and exactly what we needed. We really appreciate their flexibility and the quality of both the food and service. Highly recommend Spolumbo’s for any catering needs!

Soup-of-the-day: Beef Barley w/ bun. $7 I was excited to hear they had BB soup as I don't get Downtown much anymore. I used to 'live on' Spolumbos. Soup was tasteless. All the ingredients were there but it was watery, red and lacked flavour. I don't remember it being red (tomato based). There was no chunks only a fine slurry of meat, potato, etc. It was also cold. Service was off too. Lunch hour aside, I've never waited as long as I did today. Just ignored while they made each other laugh w/ silly stories. Buddy Buddy is good when not at the expense of back toward the customer. The 'soul' of Spolumbos seems gone. Has it been sold, new Management?

I always love stopping into Spolumbo's for lunch. You always feel welcome and appreciated for being a customer or even part of the Spolumbo's family. Ordered the daily soup - beef barley (fantastic) and the best tuna sandwich in Calgary. Great to spend some money at restaurant that is such a charitable organisation in our community as Spolumbo's.

I'd heard a lot about this place from friends but just yesterday decided to try it out and I was very very impressed with the meatball sub, it was delicious and huge as well and very cheap. The brownies are top tier as well, 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick delicious lunch

A great lunch spot for a freshly prepared deli sandwich. Had many a quick luncheon meeting here and the folks working there are truly hardworking, organized and quite friendly. The product is fresh and the portions very large. The cutlet(s) sandwich is crazy big! Gotta be 2 meals out of that!

I ate a local chicken sausage and was not impressed so I drove 3 hours to buy a case of Spolumbo chicken apple, then drive 3 hours back home.
