“Outstanding Service at CBH University District!

We had an amazing experience at CBH in the University District. Our server, MacKay, was fantastic from start to finish. He gave us great recommendations, explained all the options clearly, and even let us know whenever something came with an extra charge, but also great deals and recommendations; super honest and helpful.

He also noticed my son had a soccer game coming up, so he made sure our food came out quickly. That kind of attention and care made a huge difference. The service and the overall environment were excellent.

The steak sandwich with shrimp was excellent. The kids' menu was also great and the portions were perfect. My daughter loved her pizza, and my son enjoyed the chicken quesadillas.

Highly recommend this location — we’ll definitely be coming back!“

“We were staying at the holiday inn express, so asked for pizza recommendations. They suggested Billy's, and the food was amazing, ready for pick up as scheduled. “Went here specifically to try their chicken wings. The wings are amazing with lots of variety and flavours. Tried a few different sauces and their wings are some of the better ones I’ve had in Calgary. Service was a bit spotty but ok. Atmosphere is what you would expect from a neighbourhood pub. “My husband turned 50 this year, this was his choice of restaurant for his birthday dinner. I sent a message to the restaurant to inquire nut free desserts (this was for me) so that we could share a dessert together. Restaurants usually don't know the ingredient list, so I just avoid dessert. I received a message back, to my surprise, they actually had 2 that were nut free!! The dessert poutine was amazing!! We will be coming back again, even if its just to order dessert.“

“If your looking for a little sports bar with VLT's and lots of tvs this is the place for you. They had good drink specials and a variety of food options as well. The service was great and the staff were super helpful. Went on wing day and half of them were crispy and delicious then the last order was soggy and not appetizing. The tandoori wings stood out the most and we even ordered a second round of them. Will visit again“

“It's a big place, but acoustics are good so it's not too noisy. The staff is friendly, attentive, but not bothersome. So, although I've only been once, as I live in the south, it seems like great place to meet friends and have a good time!“

The service was great friendly and very helpful in choosing the right dish for those who want recommendations. They have very comfortable seats with good space between the tables, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. I highly recommend visiting this awesome restaurant.“

“Quaint little neighbourhood pub with amazing food. Menu is extensive ( Like almost anything) Great wings with a ton of flavour choices. A1 pizza and fantastic burgers. Lots of beers on tap, bottles too and cocktails reasonably priced. Free parking and delivery as well.“

“Felt like lasagna for dinner and it was just for me so thought I’d research some places that I could order from on uber eats. Bonasera came up as an option and the reviews were really good so I went with it! I was so impressed. The baked lasagna was exactly what I was craving. Made perfectly and still smoking hot when it got to my door. Also , the portions are big! Highly recommend this place! Looking forward to dining in for pizza. Thank you!🙂“

“I have been living in the neighborhood for over 15 years now. I had stopped into Swiggs a few years ago. I did think nay this place is not for me. I had heard about their fish and chips a couple months ago. I thought I would give it another try. I have been totally happy with the service and food now. I almost go in weekly for the steak, fish and chips or wings on their special nights. I am so happy I decided to go in. It is almost a weekly stop now. Thank you so much to the chef Francis - the steaks are awesome. Thank you so much to the Service staff - Justen and Adria. It is always a pleasure to see your smiling faces. Keep up the great job :)“

“I can't believe how long we have lived in the vicinity of "Tops" and not discovered it. The food is amazing. No more "restaurant loginess" after a meal. Everything we have tried there is excellent. It's not all about the pizza. Try the beef dip, the lasagna and the spaghatti and meatballs. Their Greek salad is perfect. I downrated "atmosphere" a bit because if you don't enjoy the sports bar sounds they have a nice room for you off to the side. It's a bit dark and there's no view. But who cares anyway? You will be treated like a guest, not just a customer.“

“My friend and I stopped to try out the Chinese food menu with a couple of cold beverages.

We decided to order the dumpling platter to share and order individual egg rolls, both were tasty dishes.

As we were getting ready to leave I decided to order the Wor Won Ton soup with extra noodles, as soon as I got home I noticed that there was very little broth and both containers were filled with the ingredients, total disappointment with the soup guess it's better to eat in than take out.“

“The pizza is always amazing. We ordered mozza sticks for the first time and it was lack luster to say the least. It does not mention when ordering the amount of sticks you get. We opened the container and there were 8 little mozza sticks. And instead of marinara sauce, it was salsa. I would not recommend the mozza sticks. The pizza I would definitely recommend.“
